Coding / My new movement engine.

For the first few games i tryed to make i used goodnights movement engine. then i started to want more stuff so i wanted to make my own. i started off with a a basic movement engine with no wall sliding while walking into a diagnal wall and stuff like that. then i added ice sliding. now to day a wanted to redo my engine to out do goodnights. this is what i came up with.

it still not done but i wanted to share it.

i still have to make pushing and the sprites are still not changing but if you cant make that part you should not be making a zelda game.



it has wall sliding, cornercuting, ice sliding.

later i will add in pushing, and sprite changing. also the mask is the same size as the minish caps mask.

it is a Mario game. you can do some stuff out of super Mario 64.

please post any bugs you find,the frames per second, any improvements you would like or what you thought about the engine.

screen:

Backflipping.
Controls:

Z = jump, if you can do a triple jump, normal jump, and backflip if you are ducking.
X = Run
Left/Right = movement
Down = duck

Hi,This is an open source project of OOT 2D any one can use the engine or sprites from it.
The idea was Jelleye's. If you use it you have to put everybody's name in your credits that helped with this engine.
Also Fell free to help out with anything you can contribute.

Maps of the area where you get the Kokiry Sword, maps of the first dungeon and maps of the inside of the kokiri houses.


-Navi starts shaking sometimes
-You can get stuck in walls :S


The Controls are Custamizable, But here are the default.
-Joystick -> Arrow Keys
-C-Buttons -> 2,W,Q,E
-Arrow Keys -> delete, end, pagedown, home
-A -> Space
-B -> Ctrl
-Z -> Z
-R -> S
-L -> A
