Just wrote this song for a girl I like, she asked me out to prom earlier this week. The title, For Ellie, is a slight pun on Beethoven's Fur Elise, which was actually written to a girl, supposed to be For Therese.

Sounds good. Did you use 2 guitars? If you only had one, then that would be impressive. Regardless, it was really good, I wish I knew how to compose music that well. I was expecting some singing, you should really add that if you know how to sing.

And ugh, a girl asked you to the prom...? I didn't think that was possible. I thought the guys have to make the first move... :( I'm going to my prom dateless, I have no luck whatsoever with chicks... Good luck!

I know.. I'm a new kid at this school, junior year right now. I hardly knew her and she just came up and asked me. Who cares which gender asks first? It was really cute and she totally expected me to say no, even though she's very nice and pretty. I can't sing for !@#$%, but I know that'd make it more special or whatever haha.

I told her ahead of time it'd just be an instrumental, and she still loved it. It's the thought that counts. Pulled something cheesy and it worked,

I told her I tried writing an instrumental song as beautiful as she was. ;)
It is two guitars, just recorded for the finger-picked part first and then a solo track layered over it.
