It doesn't seem to fit that well...
The shape itself is really nice, however the colors seem to be a bit off, and the shading on the bottom of the boat as well.
Credits to tSR for the background image.

Attached two images, one with a focus on the area surrounding the boat, the other with the complete scenery.

When you first posted this I screwed around with it after someone suggested to make it smaller. Which sparked my own curiosity on the size, but I sorta got carried away with it. I have no plans on actually doing anything more (Just was curious), but I thought it might be a another view of it in respects to color and size. I used AleX_XelA's reference as well. The dark out line probably wouldn't be used when submersed. The colors are from your pallet BTW.

Dude, Xfix, that looks incredible. It took me a second to see the difference, but it's really good. I think it fits quite well with the compact sort of plushy style of MC. Great work!

Yeah smaller it looks a lot better, although it doesn't seems to be on the water, so I made a change using the rocks as reference.

I changed some colors and inserted the black outlines.

AleX_XelA did a good job with the colors. I took the example to change mine. But some things in the model of the boat that Xfixium, I did not like. Actually the model would fit a little better style MC if it was smaller, but I found the boat a little fat. And I have plans for the King of Red lions carry one more character.

Oh, Freki has the right idea with making the boat smaller! The King of Red Lions did seem a little too big for Minish Style

I agree that logically, the boat may need to be longer, but visually, shorter is kind of better. The shorter style fits much better in the mockup, best with the floating blue water lines.
Leduardo, your latest iteration is spectacular, and doesn't seem fat even though it's short. Also, the human form of the king is short and fat! ...so it's appropriate, anyway :p

Haha, just got it. And yeah, I approve of the boat.

The charm of MC sprites is that they are somehow "short and fat" so the one X did is perfect!

Yes, I studied what a Xfixium did to get on my sprites. So much so that I was persuaded to shorten the boat. But I did not agree with the white sill of the boat. That's it.

The examples you post are always welcome.

I could see their arguments about the boat being longer slightly. But if you kept it the way it was, it would be just fine imo. This is fantastic, though. It kind of looks like a cel-shaded rendering on the DS. O_o Argh, my eyes are probably playing tricks on me :p

Next, the many accessories to the boat: the sail, the winch, the cannon...

The boat is looking most impressive I must say. I agree that to fit style perfectly it would need to be a little smaller, but I don't really see how that's possible given your constraints.

The sail, now that just looks awesome, good job.

Leduardo, that is super professional, as always.

The lower horizontal pole, though, why does it stick out from the sail so far, though? It looks peculiar to me, I suppose it might do that in the game because of the way it's blowing, but it looks a little weird as a sprite.
