So Nine Inch Nails recently (I think it was yesterday, but I just found out today) released a new album for free on their website.

http://theslip.nin.com/

I'm listening to it right now (Track 8, Corona Radiata, just started), and I really like it. It's got quite a bit of hard, rapid drumming throughout most tracks, although a bit past half way it seems to have calmed down and gone with a kind of slower, ambient style. The album is also fairly short for a Nine Inch Nails release, at only 10 tracks (as opposed to the last one, Ghosts I-IV, which was 36 tracks, separated into four 9-track parts), and I reckon it's a stronger record than Year Zero or With Teeth.

I highly recommend downloading it if you like Nine Inch Nails at all. Actually, just download it, whether or not you've heard of or enjoyed the artist's previous releases. It's free, so what do you have to lose?

As a side note, track 9, The Four Of Us Are Dying, just started, and I love it.

Trent has really been pumping out the material lately.

I'm about to download this.

I wasn't a big fan of Ghosts, but it was still really cool.

Shweet, but the hard dnb style the first few tracks has sound reminiscent-but-inferior-to the earlier song Burn so far.  From what you say about the later tracks, I'll probably warm up after hearing those.
