I'm debating this with my friend Jamie, who says this is her favorite movie ever. I say she's retarded for enjoying this abomination.

She says all my complaints are BAAAAAAAAW and illegitimate,  but I say that anything that causes a good amount of people to enjoy a movie less is a legitimate complaint.

So yes, why do YOU like or dislike this awful piece of whale !@#$% movie?

I've never seen anything fundamentally wrong with the movie aside from BAWWW THIS ISNT MARIO

I mean, when the !@#$% did Mario ever have a real story? It would be a pretty stupid movie if it was just IM !@#$% MARIO GOING TO SAVE THE PRINCESS.

Movie has a great fun and creative plot that explains why there's GIANT !@#$% TURTLES and A BIG BAD LIZARD MAN decently enough. The special effects in this film are great- way better than you see out of the CGI !@#$% they churn out now.

The environment of the Koopa City or whatever it's called is amazing- I love how dark and depressing it looks. (I also love how much it clashes with the lightheartedness of the film- a turnoff for some but come on that's rad.)

Acting is great too. Bob Hoskins is the best Mario ever.

It's a terrible movie. Terrible representation of the Mario franchise. Everything is wrong in it other than Mario being fat and the Mario Bros. being plumbers.

Goombas looked like faggots.

Because it turned Super Mario Brothers into Steam Punk. Not going to say if that's why I hate it or like it though. :)

I don't know what it is, but women seem to love this movie. I just don't get it D:...

It's really not that great of a movie... I mean, it's OKAY I suppose in that it's the movie that made Daisy popular (from world 2 in Mario 3), but w/e lol it's just nothing special.

Also goombas look like dinosaurs and not mean mushrooms D: what's with that!?

I actually kinda like it. I mean, sure it twisted the source material, and took extensive liberties with it. But I find it to be entertaining in a "so-bad-it's-good" way. If you know what I mean. It could've been a lot worse.
