The Meltdown Runner is a game I made a while back, and posted it on yoyogames- for it to be pretty much ignored.. it's a fun little platformer to kill a couple 'o minutes- try it out! And if you like, all the better!

Yeah, i think it was fairly noticable in the S.Metroid  .mp3 ... if you listened carefully, there were tonnes of them. >:D

Masks screen added, other menus changed slightly..
In this game, masks will be important- some will change your appearance

, while some will be ordinary masks, like in OOT. By the way, there are roamers going around of some Secret, Legendary masks.. who knows if they exist  :huh:?

Roamers is supposed to be rumors. With roamers in there it made me read it as if you're saying someone is roaming the world with a secret mask but no one really knows if they exist. But that would make it a rumor, so... lol.

Well, i've listened to the super metroid track, and i've got to say, you've done a pretty good job on it! it sounds SNES-y, but it seems to run smoothly and there's less of that "fuzzy" sound coming out! good job!

Yeh I think you will need to think hard on this kren. Some items make the game more fun, the NPCs keep the story true not to mention how you got Epona.

Think long and hard about this.


True, think about Majoras Mask (i know it's not the same game but bear with me :P), most of the entire plot-line is based around NPCs- how you get masks, the bombers notebook, for other items and things (like the goron races- you get the strongest sword from the item from that game, if there were no goron NPCs, hov would you get it, find it in a chest? a bit unimaginative :-\ )- without NPCs, the game would become soon boring.. you NEED them! XD

Funny how the land is Ornatus and yet it contains areas found in Hyrule, like Lake Hylia.
yeah.. those names are currently placeholders.. i'm thinking of Lake Ornia.. or somthing  XD


anyway, you've got to remember that this is an alternate timeline to PH and ST, so some Hyrulian names are bound to come up! Anyway, we all know that nothing can replace Death Mountain (other than perhaps Dragon Roost Island- it's music is so nostalgia-y..... )!
Also, things like Zora's domain and such have stayed the same for simpleness' sake.. it makes the game somewhat easier if you see a recognisable name like Kakario Village or The Lost Woods and know that "hey, the lost woods has the forest temple in it... i'll go there".. understand  :)?

Gedoseno: really i don´t know what problem causes to you play the game without that option?! maybe i am ignorant but dont understand the problem, moreover GM5 have not that option, so what can i do?? :-X

so better XD if you want, not problem but, i published it in yoyogames (is a few later xD). Then,, how? i give you a text with dialog or you modifique directly the text in .gm5? and.............. really is the translatiion so ... disastrous :o ?

Well, theres tonnes of spelling mistakes (like the "finds") and half of the dialogue makes little sense.
for your other question, all i need is a script or the words... i don't really need a gmk. your descision.

Thanks!  Yes thats right.  I am also planning on adding a couple of enemies that will occasionally appear, such as the bird that you see in the first pic.  I don't want to make it too hectic though like some of the levels in brawl.  I will have to see what it is like after I have put them in.

Man, that took forever. And I'm not even done yet. :-\ Maybe I'll finish it tomorrow.

My vote goes to chiming bells. I haven't played the demo but the screens look really nice.
The rest of my votes I'm saving till I've also see all the concept, graphics and music topics.
sameage- i've voted for chiming bells for the same reasons, and saved the others for late entrys (it's only fair).... i didnt vote for OOT2d FSA because it's yet to show updates, and FR because it has a deadline.... i might add the vote if there's a demo, though, but the vote would probably be sometime next year..

Hmm.. looks like Chiming Bells is going to win this month so far..

^ lol!  No.  It is the second level from battletoads.  If you have played battletoads it is the level where you are hanging on a rope.

however in smash bros it looks like this...  Though I may scale it down a bit, and I still need to add texture to the platform.

The platform will move up and down the hole which will adjust the gravity felt by the characters during game play.  Makes for an interesting fight.
i like, i like! so, you mean, if the platform is falling, you'll jump slower and fall slower, and going up, faster.. i like the sound of it!
