NO ONE SAID IT WOULD BE EASY

"Collect. Explore. Discover."

Intro
A Nintendo Game Boy-
esque platformer which
takes you back to the
realm of classical gaming.

More Info:
The aim is to get past all of the enemies and traps by jumping, stomping, and running to collect all  the 'electoons' scattered across level, playing as the game's hero.
Once this is done, the locked walls will dissapear and you can collect the star to finish the level. There are also plenty of secrets and easter eggs keep you playing, including secret stages!

There are multiple items and upgrades available, ranging from 1-ups, to health restorers, to invincibility pyrimids.

The music is pretty good, but the graphics are a tad bit too simple, and maybe even the gameplay could have a little more depth to it. I recommend looking up the freeware game "Alex the Allegator 4" and study it for those things; it's the perfect example of an oldschool gameboy-esque game in my opinion. I think you could probably do a little better with the level designs as well, that is, once you add a little more variety to the graphics and you have more to work with. I do think it could be fun, and I like the idea of a simple classic gameboy-esque platformer, but this seems just a tad bit too simple. But I see promise in it. I have seen a couple failed attempts at this sort of thing, but I really think you could pull it off with an extra bit of effort. Oh, and I like the game's name.

Another thing I noticed... did you come up with the name "Electoon" on your own? I ask this because Electoons are originally from Rayman. They are little pink guys.

Just so you know. ;3

Anyway, good luck m'Boy! XD

Considering you're using the phrase "Collect, explore, discover" I think it should have a massive world with interconnecting levels like Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.
