If you are interested in contributing to code, please fork and clone the following repo:

https://github.com/ZFGCCP/kot-mono

Create a fork and then clone the fork to your machine using tortoise git.  When you make a change that you want to be pushed to the repo, push it to yours first and then send us a pull request.  The code will be reviewed before deciding if it will be included in the release.

The most up to date branch for King-of-Thieves is Development.  This is what you should be getting your code from.  Please confirm that you are able to run the game before contributing code.

Documentation for what you will need to begin work is attached and will be slowly integrated into the wiki for a more complete doc.

I added a base enemy npc class last night. It addresses things that all npcs share such as item drops.  If anyone wants to work on an enemy npc, please inherit from this class.

Ok, I'm going to go through the current todo list and see what needs to be addressed. I'll also add some things that we'll need that aren't done nor listed.

Do we add gears as a submodule? Tortoise doesn't give the option to clone when you're already inside a cloned repo.
Edit: Seems to work this way, I can build successfully. Not sure if it's the proper way to go about git though.

You'll have to clone Gears via git bash to not submodule it.

Submoduling gears may be a good idea down the line at some point. Git DOES allow nested git repos however, even without submodules.

Also, Darklight, you did fork the repo, right?  I don't see a fork for you.

I did, I'm under loopyluke on there, this is the only place I still use this username from memory.

Ah cool, I'll recreate all my folder structure then. Was trying to do it the lazy way via right-click context menus :P

Also, I'm not entirely sure how much help I'll be on this project as I've hardly touched C# before and probably won't have a hell of a lot of time to work on this, but we'll see what happens!

I'd say just go for it when you have the time. If something isn't implemented well, we'll let you know or something.
