Entertainment / Re: Do you like to replay a game once beaten?
« on: August 10, 2007, 08:42:05 am »
Sometimes, but I need to leaves years and years inbetween replaying them. Like I'll go back and beat SNES games again 10years later but I'm not gonna play them a 3rd time, not for a long while yet anyway.

Why does your language have such strange spellings? What is the reason behind it all?

wow, such an open-ended thread, nice one.

As I think of all my gaming memories, there's one game that sticks out because there's just so many fun times I had with it: Age of Empires 2. I must have spent 5+ hours a day for about 2 years playing that online, and it was amazing. The speed required, the strategies involved, the perseverance needed.....I could quite honestly say that was the perfect game. But now the Zone have stopped supporting it and so the online community is basically dead.

erm, so what's my point....uhh, imagine AOE 2 but still with a never-ending server :p

Tales of Symphonia, one of the games that actually take more than 20hours to complete, thank goodness.

hmmm maybe Wind Waker had it's epic moments too, only when you're under the water though.

Nah nothing to do with partying. In England a joke uni would be a place where they only teach really simple subjects just so that people with really bad grades can say they go to university. These uni's basically take away what a university should be, by teaching courses which have no real academic content, and are, at the end of the day, useless, meaning that people come out with a degree which will (generally speaking) never get them a job and then they're £30,000+ in debt.

For instance, Thames Valley in England, ranked the worst in UK by one source, teaches subjects such as (amongst others) Cake Decorating, International Culinary Arts - Pastry, and Research (yes, they teach you for years just how to carry out research). Not to say that these aren't valid skills; just something you shouldn't have to spend £3,000 a year (at least) on learning.

You could probably get into that place by just turning up to your final exams, writing your name then going to sleep.

Question: What is the biggest joke university of USA?

Entertainment / Re: Greatest swedish band ever!
« on: August 03, 2007, 01:05:43 pm »
Sweden has a lot of good stuff to offer, but of late I prefer the Finnish stuff.

Ygnwie is pretty great, you should check out his Concerto in Eb Minor if you already haven't. The guitar work takes a bit of a backseat priority and the orchestra really make the melodies so amazing.

The Hives have always been an old time favourite of mine as well...

But yeh, this band ain't bad. Nice one.

Human beings were created (that is, invented)
via genetic experiments that were conducted by
reptilian aliens. These reptilian aliens, also known
as the "Anunnaki" or the "Reptilians," still rule the
Earth to this day.

Quote
You can see the Reptilians via meditating, using hallucinogenic drugs, and sleep paralysis. However, these are the fourth-dimensional Reptilians, not the third-dimensional ones

Quote
The dinosaurs were created by the Reptilians thousands of years ago, before one of the Reptilians' latest re-starts of civilization. The dinosaurs were used in order to scare off other alien races from coming to Earth, and also to kick out the aliens that were already living on Earth

Quote
Darkness, also known as "Satan" or "The Devil," created the universe (and, this includes the higher, non-physical dimensions, too)

Quote
The sun is a cube, not a sphere

I'm converted.

He has been called up by the Prophet for a very important mission involving: cheese, a dead horse, an empty building and a moldy Bible.

Once he's done with all that I'm sure he'll be back.
