KIRBY'S ADVENTURE  ~ Orizak

This is a remake of Kirby's Adventure for NES; it has Level 1-1 from the original game along with several enemies and powers.

I though this was a very nice remake.  It's been a while since I last played the original KA for the NES but I quickly remembered as I was playing this.

This is a surprisingly decent entry. It holds strong to the original Kirby's Adventure game, with very few bugs, and a lot of properly-implemented gameplay. There were, however, some points that collision was a little choppy. Attempting to run on slopes, for instance, and getting caught under the blocks by the waterfalls. Otherwise, good job.

There's such a double standard about religion in the modern world. Catholics can gather, wear white robes, and say "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti" and be considered normal.

But if my friends and I gather, wear black robes, and say  "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", we're considered cultists.

I found it alright, although the collisions were a bit dodgy, I couldn't even get past the waterfall cause I kept falling through blocks.

If I'm not mistaken, the original of this game was in a demo on SSBB, at least I found some parts familiar to what i remembered from that demo. The game plays good, looked good, with no graphical glitches or anything. I found the movement a bit weird, but I got used to it. The collisions was tiny bit off when landing after flying, but I'm not sure if it should be like that or not.
Anyway, a solid 9 from me, only because it was a bit too short =P

Good job :)

This seemed like the best out of the entries (besides Infini, but he doesn't count). The graphics were good, the sound was familiar, and plus, it was (I think) the only new school entry. I really liked it!

I give it an 8/10. The jumping was a bit weird, but maybe it was like that in the original? I can't remember.

I like this game very much. It feels and plays like the newer Kirby games (Amazing Mirror), yet the graphical style is very much like Kirby's Adventure. The powerups are close to flawless, except that the lightning one stops in midair. I seem to recall that you kept moving when you use it, but whatever.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken the graphical style is that of Kirby's Dream Land 3 for the SNES.

Yep, I loved the crayon-y drawn look.

The crayon-y look is actaully an option for the HUD in Kirby 64 too, I think.

It is; haha that's actually where I got the power symbols for my HUD, aside from the beam power.

It's actually good, I liked it. It is fluid and works well overall...
Also, I'm gonna show it tomorrow to my girlfriend. xP She's totally like "omigosh kirby is so cute *-* " ;P
Anyways, Kirby games are actually fun and so is this project.
I'll give it a 9.
Thank you for entering.
