The items/abilities are not set in stone yet.  Some of the tiles are off due to not having the proper tiles available on my netbook.

Anyway, the idea was to attempt a layout on multiple levels in overhead that Castlevania games have in sidescrolling.  Some areas will require jumping abilties to cross.  Some will require bombs.  Other will require other items.

I don't have anything labeled but you should be able to see how level 2 fits on level 1.  In Game Maker, I have been prototyping the idea of having both images loaded directly as background0 and background1 and just swapping collisions/objects depending on which level you are on.

Each new area will grow in the number of levels per area.  Also, there will be required back tracking to every single level to activate the single switch orb on each level.  Most will not be accessible until you get a specific item or ability.

Rambled on, so I'll just end it now.  xD
