What can I do to make this better?

So far I know I need a more distinct outline, but other than that, what do you guys think? How came I make this more professional looking?

(It's the green thing on left.)

Any criticism is greatly appreciated :]

ake it bigger... when you guy is normal human  size your creature should be from the look a 2 upto 2,5 meters monster

That monsters way nicer than the crap I PMed you the other day, lol. But anyways. Add some scars onto it, like in the picture, and I think it would look fine.

Hmm, maybe make some shadows under the plates on his right arm/add some plates to right arm. ;)

Thanks for all of the suggestions :] I'll probably post the improved version sometime tomorrow though, because I have mass amounts of homework. My only concern about the sprite is the suggestion that he should be bigger :[ He's actually supposed to be smaller than a human (about chest), and slouching over. My main inspiration for this guy was the Hunter series from the Resident Evil games.
