I like what you guys have done with the place. I think the shop is a nice addition to the community and a good way to reward good members with incentives.

However, I feel the inclusion of the Ban Removal Voucher in the shop is a bad idea. I feel that, despite its nearly unattainable price, it will serve as motivation for spamming and degrade the importance of rules. To me it sounds like we're saying, "Gee, I know you broke the rules several times, but you sure did post a lot, so we're just going to let it slide." Maybe this is just me, but I just feel that this is one item that should not be included in the shop.

It really seems pointless to me. The huge price and using it on yourself or someone else just seems...like...like..."that it doesn't show its true potential".

Well.. seeing as when someone is banned, they wont actually be able to get to the shop to buy the item.. i think it seems ironically fitting.

I guess so. It's probably good motivation to get more Rupees than everyone, but in some dumb cheating ways, that won't happen.

Its actually just a !@#$% take, look at the price, its to high for anyone to be able to buy. I doubt it will encourage spamming, as it would just result in the person getting a ban before they gain enough money to buy one :P.

And like Dayjo says, when your banned you won't even be able to use it XD.

That's true, but you admins are able to buy it with your credit-increasing cheating ways, lol.

I could have had some sort of right if I were still a staff member like before which lasted less than a day or something like that.

It's just the admins, not all staff.  Tompel, I, and the rest of the mod team have to work for our rupees just like everyone else.

I would have lost either way. It seems Domo's rupees keep going up for some reason but there were no posts shown on the recent posts list. :-\

I guess the secret is out...I'm an undercover admin.  (Shhh! Don't tell anyone!)

Anyway, I was thinking the same thing Lupus said earlier today, but now I'd have to say I agree with Dayjo.  Users have the option to buy the voucher for other people though, correct?  I doubt anyone would ever do that, but I'm curious.

You could have a "Save 'USER'" user.. and get people to donate to it... buy the item, then transfer it to the banned member.. but even then they wouldnt be able to click the "Use Item" link lol
