Ah, that's a lovely tile set! I wish I could make tiles like that...

What do you mean by ZFGC-style, though? Just tiles/sprites/etc. in this style you're hoping to establish? If so... well, I'm sure the community will be proud to consider this it's own original style.  :D

well, I think we should all work on one graphics set together, so it will get finished.

'zfgc style' fits the description :P

Untrue, OSL.  Or should I say "Online Start Local"?  That's right, I know your full name.

I think we should do tiles first, and the link sprite near last.. that way everyone has had more experience with this style and has gotten a bit better before doing the one sprite you see the entire game

The black outline on the tree is a little "too" rigid a transition. That's the only gripe i have with the set.

All I really excel at are character sprites... With a few visual references I could make NPCs in that style, but other than that I don't think I could contribute to this.  :-[

I think it looks nice. Too bad I have no sprite experience whatsoever, otherwise i would've contributed

I thought this was very interesting, so I put somethin' together in about 10 minutes. I don't really make sprites, so I gues it's decent, but it doesn't qutie fit in with the rest of the graphics, but hey, i'm not .Takam, and I can't magically gain his "style". :P

Hm... I should probably put something here...

.TakaM, I believe the best resource you could give anyone you want to work on this is a color palette that you made (and therefore approve of).  :D

I might make one, but in the mean time just use whatever colours you want, if they need tweaking I can fix em up

edit-
if you're really drawing a blank, just do it Grey-scale and I'll colour it

what? this isn't a request topic, and we shouldn't be worrying about specific objects yet, we need to get general purpose stuff done like houses and water

updated the tileset with some new cliffs, the ones before were quite limiting and you couldn't really make diagonal cliffs with it, now you can :)

plus I started the water.
