Title: Oh god...I'm doing it with the PSN games now :(
Post by: Theforeshadower on March 27, 2011, 02:33:08 pm: For some reason I have found myself purchasing PS1 games on PSN for my pspGO and PS3...even the games in which I still own the original discs. I mean, spending five bucks here or there for PS1 games doesn't seem to bother me.
So far I have bought:
Metal Gear Solid
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy IX
Parasite Eve

I am soon going to be purchasing:
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy Tactics(The remake for PSP had way too many lag issues when I owned it before I sold my psp3000 to my uncle.)
Resident Evil Director's Cut
Symphony of the Night(I could get the PSP Dracula X Chronicles or whatever but then I could only play on PSP/remote play).

However, when it comes to Nintendo's Virtual Console, I did not like spending the same amount for NES and SNES games. I still own the cartridges and systems but paying $5-$10 for what I own on cartridge that is older than PS1/N64 seems foolish.

Then again, purchasing PS1 games I already own is just as bad.
Now, if they would just release Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy Chronicles on PSN :)...(Though I still own Chrono Cross on disc. Great game.)

I own a Go since I got it brand new for $125 when a video game store went out of business. It was still $250 brand new back then.
