Hi, on request from Kevin i am making a church that will be used in his icyland of his game, anyway in my opinion it looks a little bit messy so i thought i should post it so i could get some criticism to make it better,
i have 2 version
1 with ice taps: 2 without ice taps:

Look nice the only thing that strikes me as weird is it's lack of windows. Normally churches have lots of windows.

windows will be added, when ive fixed the walls so they are as they are supposed to be ^^

Just a few problems with your sprite, you've used a few dark-grey colours too much.

The roof looks kinda strange if you ask me.

yeh, i am gonna use gradient on the dark gray parts, above the walls, but not the roof, also i agree about the roof, i dunno how to fix though!

Maybe it's an idea to look really good on how Nintendo did it.

The only thing I don't like is that it looks like 3 seperate buildings because the roofs are all seperated. Maybe make 1 roof that combines all 3 to make it look like it's 1 building and not 3 that's mooshed together?
And TRD, that's a pretty cool recolor. ;)

Allright, for the empty part betwen roof and walls i added a gradient so it looks like the walls fade into darkness, also took away the part that saperated the different roofs, and had a look at the original roof from nintendo to make the side roofs look better, overall i think its getting better but still needs improvement,

I feel that i am getting close to completion of my snowy church, but i dont wanna make updates that dosent look right so i am just gonna show the current verision of it, id love some C+C

It's looking very nice. :) The stained glass windows' colors are a bit bright though.

Looks great, personally I would change the cross to the Triforce.

The door looks a bit dark(just a bit) and you should change the cross to a Triforce (link isn't catholic ;))

Where did you get that information?
It looks good, but I think you should have the walls go all the way up to the roof, because, to me, it kinda looks like there's a big hole there. I think I like the one with the darker door, I find that with the lighter door, it's kindof a blast of brightness.

Neither door is right. Look at your old one, it had a totally different door. Use that door. :o

It's a clean sprite overall. You need the snow on the roof to continue to the edge of the roof though. It looks like the snow on the roof just kinda stops before the roof does, making it look kind of awkward.

Well the idea with that was the fact that snow does fall of the sides on the roof, but you might be right it dosent look to good, here is a verision with fully snowy roof (http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l91/Norlem/churchbynorlemcurvedbrickedediti-9.png)

try and make the snow run off the sides a little, other than that, good :D!

ah, i didn't know that snow only fell in specific areas over that church >_<
(ie, why isn't the snow covering everything? wouldn't it be like that if it snowed all over it? :P)

well its supposed to show the contours of the roof, but okay ill make ANOTHER edit :P with more snow.. xD

it does look great, just that if it's meant to have a layer of snow that's fallen on it, then it doesn't quite like that way :P

Also, the triforce: the middle looks thicker than the rest of triangles..

Agreed, the snow wouldn't sit perfectly on the top. Looks great tho.

I see what you are trying to say with the detailing but ill have a go on fix so the snow goes on the edges, then ill see if its still needed.

Alot of shields had crosses on them, but it doesn't mean that Link's catholic in the first two games. It's in a whole 'nother world, so I don't think that the catholic religion would be there at all.
Anyways, It's completely amazing! With snow hanging off the sides a little bit, it would be even more so!
