so... i've had alot time now minor problems with my pc hardware... now finally the !@#$% thing chrashed and i'm shot back into the middle of stoneage ( 1Ghz )

but well... maybe i get it back tomorrow: the pc doesnt send a "picture signal" even when every single component is ex-changed with an another one ( like graphics card, ram, energy, monitor, cables, cpu, cooler ) before someone says i dont know about such things... the pc i used too has simliar hardware. And for my wondering, it doesnt work either, since today. But there i know its the mainboard.

:( hope my pc works tomorrow, my father could buy himself now a new one, but not me / i can't for me either.

I dont like the situation just be able to play World of Warcraft because of the old system of my 2nd pc ^^

What're you on, a 386? Here, you can have my old Windows 98SE computer...at least it has 16MB video memory. And 128MB RAM and a 450MHz Processor. And a 10GB hard drive.

You can have my old Geforce 440 MX. It's crap. But atleast it's 128 mb video memory. It won't run the last 3 generations of games though :P

I'm currently saving up for a video card that doesn't suck, because right now, I have a 128MB integrated, so you just KNOW that it shitty.

1 GHz isn't so bad; I'm running a 1.6GHz laptop right now, and the processor speed is way more than what I use it for (which includes games). The only thing I really need is a more reliable internet connection. :P

Although, the type of CPU makes a bit of difference.

I have a 1.5GHz Pentium M in my laptop, and.. it gives significantly better performance than a (standard)P4 of the same Clock Speed. But oh well, it isn't like I'm running something as nice as what you probably had before :P.

For most of the stuff that I do though, my performance is..actually great. But ..yeah, with brand new games.. it starts feeling outdated :'( ..as does my Graphics Card(Mobility Radeon 9000 64MB DDR) ...

So yeah,..too bad to hear about your misfortune ;_;

well, i guess you cant play H-L2 or Q4 on your laptop... when you think about that my other pc was ALOT BETTER then 1Ghz "is" stoneage

thx and btw.: i used to have an AMD Athlon XP ( 32 Bit ) and have now an Intel Pentium 3
