Single MC sprites

Everything is going good so far except one thing. I suck at aligning sprites. So does anybody have any already aligned MC sprites or atlest a tool for making them

Do your sprites have a shadow?
If so then you can just use that to align them as the shadow is always in the same place for each sprite.

Do they have to be directly on top of it or 2 or 3 pixels above it?

I don't quite understand your question. Are you referring to the shadow?
