Secondly, there's file formats that are accepted, use the ones that are accepted. Thirdly, phrase stuff nicer, or don't !@#$% about it. I'm tired of everyone tearing Helios apart for it, I do not want to see -anymore- of it. Logged

Okay disregard my first post I'm gunna be a tad bit frank <_<;;

How the !@#$% can you pass full judgment on the resource system because you (being the minority here) lack the ability to compress your files properly? You being a"developer" should have the ability to meet the compression standards that are required by the resource system.

You really show your age when you think it's not your responsibility to meet the requirements of the resource system if you're going to use it. If it doesn't suit your needs, then move on, find something else, and deal with it. OR. Use your brain and use compression methods that work for the system. If you can script, you can take 2 seconds out of your life to compress your source. Don't !@#$% if you don't want to take the time to do it for the resource system.

You would have to be a complete and total !@#$% idiot to sit and !@#$% the way you're bitching about something you don't have to use, when you could just as easily compress to the formats it uses without going out of your way.

BMP = !@#$% huge, I'm not wasting large chunks of webspace hosting them. Just change it to png, its not exactly hard. Not to mention you will also !@#$% members of royally who have to wait for ages for them to view or download them.

7z = I don't support these as they aren't very accessable for other users. I wanted to choose formats that more or less anyone can access.
