Happy 10 Years on SMF, ZFGC!

It went by without much fanfare, but I wanted to throw it out there that 10 years ago on April 1st, 2006, Zelda Fan Game Central started back up after that period of time after Gamers Advanced / DSRevolution and ZFGC-X Invisionfree variants. Been a funky ride since then but surprised many of us are still here. Congratulations on making it that far with us all, and onward to the years ahead.

Well this was certainly a convenient time for me to randomly drop in and lurk around for a bit.


EDIT: Wow I need to update my signature and perhaps my avatar as well; Firefox and Opera are both becoming Chrome clones and I now primarily use Pale Moon, so that's totally not accurate anymore.  I actually just got back into ReactOS with the release of 0.40 so might as well keep that banner (just recently discovered that my N64 memory card battery has died and has taken the saves with it, so before I replace the battery I want to see if my N64 DexDrive still works and if it works with ReactOS so that I can restore a memory card backup I made several years ago).

EDIT 2: Everything's been updated.  Who knows, maybe I'll drop in more frequently?

I've been here for a long ass time too. I originally joined in 2005 and shared goofy comics I made based off of my friends and even included two characters based off of members here (they're no longer here). I rejoined in 2007 when I was bored in class. Very glad I was bored in class or else I'm not sure I would have become friends with Steve, 4Sword, and a whole bunch of others here. I met my best friend through a member here.

I feel like we all witnessed each other grow up, through the good and the bad. Yeah, yeah, I am talking about me :P I displayed some real horrible attitude here at times.

But yeah, happy 10 years ZFGC. And metal? Hope you're doing well, wherever you are.

I blame Kirby.

He brought Metalu into SMF and actually me as well for a short time (Did QA/Writing) before I started focusing my free time on IRC stuff.

10 years... lol i thought i joined in 2006 (and it says so because GA and stuff ) but i remember i joined earlier than that and then joined both "temporary" forums (GA and ZFGC.org) and lastly here...

first i was helping in a zelda mmo (hyrule chronicles) and was a spriting noob... and over time i got more into game development as interest... i'm not bringing together anything but i'm happy to call it a hobby =)

I wonder how many OoT2D we will see the next 10 years ;) or if it will shift to another game :D

Seeing as how I was here at the beginning with Mammy and others, I thought I should login and say cheers.
