Security screws are a !@#$%, and everything nintendo uses them, and even though my dad is a builder I still can't find any screwdrivers that even look like them.

The three part screw? Yeah, you won't find any building screwdrivers that use those.

Try what I said before, with the non-writing end of a biro and a flame.

I can see why. It seems we will still need 6 batteries, the game gear wants a 9 volt flow constantly. 2 AA bateries cant support that unless we have a transistor to change amperage or something. Thats why the game gear wouldnt work without 6 batteries.

Try using one of those big 9v batteries you can buy; the square ones. They're still smaller than 6 batteries of any other kind.

You can buy the adapters for those quite easily.

I was just about to say that Pyru. I think I'm gonna try and adapt it to a 9V Battery. That way it gets a constant 9 volt flow and it only uses one small battery. If this plan won't work, protest now Joeshmo. Cuz you kinda put the project in my hands for a while, and I don't wanna wreck it. :P

I owuld probably run two 9v batteries on a parallel circuit to improve battery life, but still only use a fraction of the space of the original GG's battery space.

I have no clue what works. You might not even need a 9v flow because we are replacing the huge floresent with leds.

I'd check what current 6 AA batteries put through then, find out how much of that is used by your flourescent bulbs, and do some maths, cause you don't want to fry your components.
Or do trial and error with a variable resistor and see what happens. Because you don't want to do all this and then fry some components.
