I'll say this; very interesting project and overall concept. Looking forward to it if it really starts to become a reality sooner or later  :)

In addition to the categories I mentioned previous, I don't know why I forgot to mention that I love buying and collecting recordings/vinyl/CDs, etc.! XD

I own over 500 albums (singles, full-length, etc.) and over 50 vinyls. It's great to see as years pass by what you own and what is still to be owned. Never ending yet lovely procedure  :D

When it comes to the concept of collecting, it is a very strong hobby of mine. I love collecting certain figurines (Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Assassin's parkour, etc.), certain weaponry (I own Aragorn's sword, Frodo's sword, Link's Master Sword from Ocarina of Time, etc.), drum/percussion equipment (the drum/percussion nerd in me lol), and many other categories. Maybe I'll post and rant more soon  :P

Thanks for the update! I miss the franchise too and remember the now the whole ordeal with the Rare household name. It really is a shame to not see these great installments continue.

And yes, the other games you mentioned at the end I agree with too! They definitely deserve to return full-fledge.

I totally agree with Final Fantasy V and VI as well as the Paper Mario games mentioned above. These games definitely deserve to have a great return in a more modern style, but of course keep the games mostly the way they were.

If I had to name a few outdated games that deserve to be re-made, I would have to say:

1) Banjo-Kazooie: Hands down; one of the most entertaining, addicting, and challenging games of all time in my opinion. Seeing this on the Nintendo 3DS would keep me going for hours on end each day! Such a memorable game :)

And, since I mentioned Banjo Kazooie, I might as well mention the sequel:

2) Banjo-Tooie: Even though I, as well as many others, love the first installment the most, this sequel was phenomenal and memorable. With the challenges this game had, this definitely would go interesting to see return......with interesting additional challenges, etc.

3) Donkey Kong 64: Easily one of my favorite Donkey Kong installments. I always loved the style, gameplay, challenges, differentiation between each character, and levels.

I can name many more, but I'll a narrow list such as the one above :)

Once my phone finally decides to let me upload videos easily on here as well as on Facebook, videos you shall all get  :)

It was fantastic! The performance was spot on and their selections were great! I also bought a t-shirt, poster, and piano book. I plan to upload videos that I taped on here as well as my Facebook page soon. Again, it was most excellent and I hope the tour returns.

As the title says, I'll be finally seeing them tonight at Madison Square Garden! Just felt like posting this out of sheer excitement  :D

Comment if you like.

And of course, the answer is not going to be straight and very hard for me to say right now (TOO many). I'll have an answer(s) soon enough  :P

Not sure about the difference, but either way, I'm glad to own it now :)

I do plan on purchasing the English version of the book as well. The collector in me wants to possess both  ;)

MG has been off for quite some time. I'm good friends with him, so I know that his power is lost. Otherwise, he and his family are fine.

As for people I know who either got harmed or hurt, I know a bunch of people who lost homes and/or are currently residing at another's home. Towns are either flooded, somewhat demolished, or just suffered some power loss.

As the title says, I got my Japanese limited edition Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary Hyrule Historia in the mail today! Out of print, limited edition, a collector's item, and Japanese text; no complaint :)

It is fascinating to see the blueprints, various sketches, and various timelines of certain areas and characters from all of the installments in the franchise up to this point. Overall, definitely an item worth owning for any Zelda fan or collector!

As for me on Long Island, about 93% percent have lost or have absolutely no power. Luckily for me and others, I'm in the 7th percentile with power and hardly any damage (except my backyard fence got half-demolished by huge tree branches). Many areas on Long Island, New York area, and New Jersey are in critical condition. Traffic lights are out, towns are as black as night, etc. Because of all of this, driving is a bad idea which prevents me from going to school or work (I'm good with this lol). So, I've been treating the time inside my home as the opposite of cabin fever. I've been practicing my drum kit and saxophone a lot (as usual) and even...........picked up my ocarina again. Yes I said it; 5-hole ocarina. It's been a lognt ime since I last attempted to learn the instrument :)

But overall, I'm in good condition and hope for a swift recovery to those without power and to those who lost their homes and even loved ones.

I've been on somewhat of a Wintersun binge since the new album finally was released last week. If anyone wants to hear the entire album, I present you this musical phenomenon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2PUEkxlYTs

Or, if you simply would like to watch an in-studio performance of one of the songs from the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2p9PsVD9Ho

The reason why I mentioned Final Fantasy XII as an example is because the fighting style became somewhat of a version of Kingdom Hearts' approach to a battle system. Do not get me wrong, I LOVE Kingdom Hearts, but the fighting style should not be placed in a franchise which is known for it's great turn based battle system (aka. Final Fantasy). In addition and as a sidenote , the plot of Final Fantasy XII from my perspective was very weak. The only characters I really like from the installment were the Five Judges. Overall, thank goodness Final Fantasy XIII was unleashed and somewhat combined these fighting styles and gameplay in a very creative and impressive manner.

I agree with everyone else too. Keep the style and gameplay that The Legend of Zelda as is. Otherwise, it will fall into some form of an RPG trap that it wasn't meant to look like or be played as. I love RPGs, but after seeing what happened with Final Fantasy XII's style and gameplay (setting an example), it doesn't need to happen again with another legendary franchise. Again, just leave the gameplay and style the way it is and has always been known for. I'm a promoter and supporter of enhancements and improvements, but not 70-100% complete change of pace, structure, etc. (depending of course).

After watching that fan-made trailer, I want Majora's Mask to be re-made for Wii-U!!  XD   It's very well made and it grasps you right away, so now I see why people almost believed it to be true.

And about the choice of either re-making A Link To The Past or Majora's Mask for the 3DS, I am in support of either one. Ocarina of Time was great, so some form of a follow-up would be nice.

As of recently, I've been listening to John Coltrane, Between The Buried And Me (specifically their new album "The Parallax II: Future Sequence", The Omega Experiment, The Lord of The Rings film scores (all three soundtracks composed, orchestrated, and arranged by Howard Shore), and The Smashing Pumpkins.
