I have adware, an annoying bunch at that. (It dosen't fully open the windows, just keeps opening hundreds of them tell my task bar is filled.) My adware remover does not seem to be able to get rid of it and when I go to do it manuelly, I can never find the directory. So... does anyone know how I can get rid of it for free?

well it exist two ways of opening your windows, i dont know what the other way is calld, but when you have opend windows in that way you should go to the directory were the file is held, then you should be able to remove it as in the other opening way you can remove protected files, anyway, you should look closelty cos it could be backups running. id say it most risk you find it in win32 folder. I hope i gave you a little bit of help!

Yeah that would be good or just download SpywareBot and it will take care of it.

I recommend Spyware Doctor...It's fixed every problem I have had.  You'll have to pay for it or torrent it, though, if you want to remove viruses and such.

For the free route, download Ad-Aware and Spybot; they'll take care of a lot; Free anti-virus - AVG Free Edition and if you think you have a trojan - Trojan Hunter.

Most of these you can get from www.download.com

I always wonder how people manage to get all this stuff on their computer. I'm always virus/adware/spyware/whatever free with no anti-whatever.

BitDeffender is the best thing to torrent.
Also, you should always have a antimalware thingy on at all times.

I'm also another that gets absolutely nothing, not even tracking cookies.  Nothing gets through unless I give it approval.

The only people in real life I've met with PC issues are non-stop IE6 porn surfers. Are you an IE6 porn surfer, piers?

In all truth, avoid torrents unless you 100% truly know what's in them.
