Title: A quick Sketch
Post by: Bludleef on March 09, 2010, 02:20:57 am
Well I got bored at work and did something I haven't done in a while.
I drew a picture of link randomness.  I think it came out pretty well, and I just figured I would show it.  XD

sorry about the phone camera quality my other camera needs to be charged.

I personally like it. You should definitly try coloring it if you have the time. Just a few questions, however. Is that a dodongo in the bubble? Also is that a Wooden Sword from TP with a Forest Temple symbol? His hair looks a little bit to much like the Happy Mask Salesman's hair. But overall it is pretty nice.

Thanks I might.

k

No it is supposed to be the dragon from the first dungeon in the original Legend of Zelda.  I had just got through watching the Legend of Niel again recently and well yeah.

No it is supposed to be the wooden sword you are given from the original LOZ and the Forest symbol as you called it is a knot in the wood, which incidentally is where the forest symbol came from. LOL

Yeah his hair is what bothers me, but as it is a caricature for a drawing design I am working on, I am not to concerned with details.  Once again thanks for the comments.

By the way, this is completly unrelated and a tangent, but if you finished the Sage Knight on November 30, 2009... Were is the full download link? I can only find the first demo......

It's got a nice stylized cartoony look to it. My only crit is he should have some hair on the back of his head :P

Ah yes this is something I am bad about forgetting thanks DJ.  I will add that as I vector it (an easy fix).

I assume you are referring to the release schedule posted on my site.  Which incidentally needs to be updated.  I am sorry, but life as it often does became quite more demanding of me in 2009 than I thought it would and Sage Knight got put on a back burner, but it is officially under work again.  I hope to have a demo done that will be about half of the game by Z3 or this summer if you don't know what Z3 is.  I have now updated the release schedule and apologize for the lack of update on the site.  Also there has been some reworking done on the games story since the first demo as well, but that is all for another topic.

Ok so yeah I took the sketch and made a fun comic with it.

I call it "Seriously"

It is still in the works, and the background is most likely temporary, but yeah. XD

lol that's funny. Really, what good would a wooden sword do against a fire-breathing dragon?
