IMPORTANT
I'm considering a few things:

1) Using original GB pallete
2) Having sprites and stuff extern so the game is mod-able like TRM's OOT2D
for the people who don't know what I mean! That means you can make recolor packs for MMgb.

Please give your opinion about it!

I would advise against it, you dont really know the GBC limits when it comes to sprites' and tiles' colours, but neither do I. but if you want to learn the real limitations, not just a palette, I say go for it. otherwise- chose whatever colours you want.
2) Having sprites and stuff extern so the game is mod-able like TRM's OOT2D
I think its a pointless idea, I know it wont be worth while in TRM's game, because if you change the tiles, you cant change their construction or all the collision etc is offset majorly, its not worth the hassle and even if it was- I doubt anyone would ever make a worth while alternative tileset

Im saying all people will be able to do is (ultimately) replace your tiles with other GBC tiles, the game will look almost exactly the same because they cant put in say LTTP or MC tiles because theyre constructed differently. and when the results will not differ much people wont really be encouraged to make an alternative set so I dont think its worth the hassle.

just make the game :P

Meh, I don't care about palletes in GBC games (although in MC, I like it when people stick to the pallete, because it's a great selection of colours Nintendo chose, and most fans choose... crappy ones <_<)... and I say only make the strings and such able to be modified without hecking. That's all I really care about.

I think I want translations and manual fixes of grammar and spelling mistakes <_<. And making mine use British spellings >_>.

I said "without hecking" because when I get a new game with external resources, even when they're encrypted, I start fiddling with them anyway. I was just meaning that I would rather you made your string files use the normal ASCII format, so I don't have to spend an hour or so writing a software to modify it.

Its a great idea, because then it would look more authentic, and also having external, give the ability for you to change between the recolor palette, and the GB palette sprites.  I think thats what you should do.  Give seperate downloads and let people choose between Recolor and GB ^_^
also, it has less loading time which is an added bonus ;)

It would be nice to have but kinda what .Takam said with the collision(thought I'm sure you could think of something) and also I wouldn't know how to do it.
