Well,
as the new Zelda is coming. A friend challenged me to create this the new race aquatic. The result is as follows:

What do you think?

Although you have a hat talent.
I think this is not a sprite style mc.

I think you're taking the parameters of whatever "Minish cap style" is and being way too strict about it, Azur. Based on the pallet and some other things, is this like ALTTP or Gameboy zeldas? Nope, but it's still pretty Zelda style, it's most like the game MC. Well, I think how people define the style is too strict, anyway.

Leduardo, I actually have no idea what these guys are, but you did a good job sprinting them. I think maybe you have too many black lines, around the head especially, and this makes it look a little less consistent with your regular work, and is probably why Azur thinks it's not MC style.
The spots, though, you did an AMAZING job! They're really spectacular.

I would consider making them a little bit bigger, since there are too much detail for being the current size and a bit more contrast between the shadings.

Parella is for sure, MC style. The size is right, compared with the MC Link.
The colors, well, they are all the pick of the MC pallet.
About the contrast of colors, I did some tests with fewer colors, but the effect was not very good.
It was like an umbrella.
Then I started to use more colors of MC palette to get this effect. I think it became very close to the original image.

The black lines around the head, I had no way. The head uses a lot of yellow color, to contrast with the map, its very difficult without it. I used some blue or red mixed with black. But all blue or red become the sprite weird.

For people who don't know Parella.

Those are pretty cool I'd imagine them a tad bit bigger tho because in skyward sword link is am adult and in mc he is a kid so that should be taken into consideration when it comes to comparing by size

People,
I was playing Skyward Sword and I liked a lot this character. So I decided to do it on Mc Style. I hope you like it.
In the tail, couldn't get the shadows so right. If you help me, I can improve it...

For all a happy new year.

It looks good overall, but there are a lot of jagged lines in the sprite and it looks a bit plain and not so much in style to MC. There is also a bit too much of the black around it. Other than that it's pretty good.

To be fair, there isn't that much detail on the model in SS so it would be a little difficult to implement details. The jagged lines however could be fixed

It looks awesome! I haven't played skyward sword, so I have NO idea what's going on with it, but it looks cool.

It does look a little flat compared to your usual sprites. I think, on the chest especially, you could add some shading? Maybe on the black cape part, too? I think the weird thing about the tail is that the light source is slightly inconsistent, where the tail turns left right under the top, I don't know if there should be a highlight on the right side, shouldn't that part be slightly in shadow, since the top of the tail is blocking some of the light?

I played around with it a little, if it's okay. Changed some colours and redid the "crown" thingy around the head (it looks a bit odd though when I look at it now) and changed the overall shading.

EDIT: I had too much fun with this. I'm sorry :(

Thanks to SinkinDevil and others for help.
I was a bit disoriented about the shadows.
I think now it's better.

I just can not do the tail.
Does anyone have any idea?

These are some pictures that I used to design the sprite.

I was a little bit confused myself when it came to put shading on this. But I got some hints by looking at other sprites in MC style, that's a tip for you if you get stuck on the shading part.

Anyways, it looks better now! I'll see if I can help you out with the tail.  :)

I messed with the sprite and tried making the tail. I think I did good. Also, I attempted to shade the tail somehow, but I pillow-shaded in some parts. I still think it looks good.

Hope you like it! :)

Thank you,
Zeldahuman.

It was a subtle shade of the tail. But I think you did it with too many colors. I dont know, i'll keep it in mind to improve mine. Thanks.
As the tail end, there are some different flippers that I can put, if you want.

Today I did another Dragon. I hope you enjoy. But the tail'm still not 100% enjoying.

You're welcome! And feel free to do whatever the hell you want to this. I was just messing around with the sprite to see what I could do. I actually might need these, as well as those amazing Loftwing sprites you made! Have you expanded upon those? I would love to see them and use them if you would let me.

Looks pretty nice, but the angle is all wrong. It needs to be more topdown and the shading and colours aren't very MCish.
But as it's own work of art, it looks pretty sweet ^^

The edit SinkinDevil did was much better, since that one uses real MC colors (saturated colors) and the crown is better.
Keep up the good work!

This proves it: Volvagia really is a direct descendant of the Fire Dragon.
Nice job, once again, Leduardo! Will you be making sprite sheets for them, or only that?

I was talking to my friend last night, and he was mentioning about how in 1980, he thought the internet would become this amazing place where people from across the world would share ideas. I was telling him about how this project [KOT] has worked, lurching along for years and drawn by different people from across the globe, and he thought it was beautiful. And he was right, it's awesome. :D
