depth problem

I'm having some problems adding some depth shading wise to some tiles.

Ive just uploaded the basic, unfinished tiles(they're supposed to be walls, I havent added the diagnol sides yet.)So, anyone?

looks like a tile for a 3D game....
Humm...

Wait.  Thats a texture from Majora's mask, I do believe.  The walls on clock town!

Are you sure Mewgull? The texture in MM for the walls look a lot more detailed than this. Then again, I don't know much about 3D; I only took one course in school for 3D designing. :P

They're similar but not exactly the same. Erm... it doesn't look too good though. It looks kinda boring, as a result of using LttP-palette. :I

OH SNAPS! Buurrn!!

Its true though. The LTTP pallete is sooooooooooo annoying. Its very hard to work around as it has to many darker shades and not enough brighter shades. Maybe if someone made a LTTP pallete from the GBA version, it wouldn't be as bad.

Old person! Burn is old, then there was TREATED! And now there is "He was ROASTIN'!"

I never use the lttp pallatette, and it works, just keep the general idea and it looks nice without the limits.
