Freeware.

Java, Slick2D. Sound effects are .wav, and the bgm is in .ogg. Sprites are in .png with 0x00000000 (clear/transparent) as the transparent color.

Talent needed:
I need a fast graphics/sprite artist. You don't need to have worked on any previous projects.

Team structure:
I guess I'd be the leader, planer, and programmer.

Additional Info:
I'm really hoping to make Phantasy Blade have a 8-bit retro style.

Awesome! . The style I'm going for is like this:
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/dragonq/sheet/10015
(Very simple, and bright tiles) tiles are to be made 50x50

And a player something like this:
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/dragonq2/sheet/10024
(very colorful, shield showing, but sword not. simple retro style.) player sprites are 48x48

if i see your examples and your screenshots is suggest following that you can doo even without a new artist:

try to fit all tiles into the same view, and brighten them up they are too dark for the colorfull style you aim for

and try to fit the size and style/colors of the figures to the tiles you have

and at last: redesign your hud more userfreindly and more simplistic to view
