Hi, I'm trying to disable a set of form elements, I've managed to get it to work in IE by using the "disabled" attribute of a <span>, but firefox doesnt seem to recognise it and therefore doesnt disable the <span>.
Anyone know how I can do this?

Try using divs.  Then use the CSS attribute to disable them.

I guess I'll have to do that, but that way doesnt work in IE :/.
Neither does <span> really :/ it greys them out, but you can still intereact with them.

Then make an IE wrapper.  Just put a little script that does something in IE only and nothing in other browsers.  I use that :)  Just google it if you can't find it.

Meh, Cross browser compatability sucks ass.
I think I'll just forget it, its a pointless feature that's not nessecery to the system anyway.

Ok.  If it's a PHP page,  it's very easy to implement.  But if you just don't want it, I'll not just forget it.

It's only a few lines btw.
