Banned?

I was having some problems getting onto the chat and I am just posting this to inquire about what's going on.  I use mibbit and I think that there was somebody else who used it on the chat, so is that what was banned?

Aw, man, mibbit was awesome to use as a chat client and Google Chrome doesn't have Java support for the chat applet thing for me yet.  I could use Trillian to get through possibly, but in the past my school's connection blocked out things like that, and even mIRC - it was odd, I know.

Anyway, thanks for inquiring about it Ness.

DJ dropped the ban on mibbit so if you can't get in it's the clients side.

lol, that's cool.  It is actually funny though to ban something over porn or whatever, Andrew has linked to Goatse and someone else posted a picture of boobs.  Then again, it probably wasn't done in a harassing manner like that thing that was banned had to be, XD.

Uhh, I'd never link to goatse, unless I was in a private channel.. I'd be breaking my own network rules if I did that. :p

Just use mIRC 4Sword.
It's free but it just gets annoying having to wait about 3 second to click continue twice.
It works excellent tho.

What are you talking about?   There was that one time you messaged me privately on AIM to which you linked me to an image of Goatse, then you posted that up on the chat #zfgc - my response to which privately was that I had seen worse.  I know this happened.

Oh, and I use mIRC sometimes, it's just mibbit is easier for me.

Mibbit is effectively, a proxy, therefore if someone uses it *cough* rogueyoshi *cough* to ban evade, you'll get hit with that ban too.

Aw fiddlesticks.  Anyway, I can understand that reasoning and while it may be more inconvenient to get on chat another way, I might as well if I want to get on chat at all.  Then again, I could use the extra time to focus more on my projects.  So anyway, I will just go ahead and lock this topic, thanks everybody.
