I think the coding is horrible but a decent starting point for someone interested in learning how XNA works.
I did have the intention of making a fully working overworld with all the equipment from the original Legend of Zelda.
Unfortunately, I could never grasp the concept of streaming files to place my collisions on the overworld based upon
location.
Anyway, it has sound, animated sprites, the entire overworld with working compass, a HUD.
Arrow keys move(though the movement is rough)
Z slashes sword
Like I said, it is something for someone new to look at just to get a grasp on how XNA works.
That and I felt like leaving it on my HDD was not doing it justice.
Requires Microsoft Visual C# Express 2008(or Standard/Professional/etc)
XNA 3.0 or higher.
I do believe the exe can be ran without these though you may need the XNA 3.0 redist package.
The exe is in the bin>x86>debug
It's called Windowsgame1
