It seems that about the only thing left is finalizing some sort of permanent contract.  I assume we could start to see new episodes for some shows in as little as two-three weeks.  Thank god.

I'm glad this is finally over. I'm really tired of watching reruns.
I should start watching heroes, for some reason I never got into it.

Me either. Too busy being at school, on the computer, or playing video games.

For the most part, same here.  I watch TV maybe three hours a week, tops...the majority of it is garbage and there are much more productive things to do.  There are a few shows that I make sure to watch, and having them being taken off the air prematurely did bother me.  Not terribly, but it bothered me nonetheless.  One of my main concerns was the possibility for a lack of quality films in the coming year...that would have been very bothersome for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good book like none other, but I'm a sucker for a grade A film.

I actually approved the writers strike they were being treated unfairly and just wanted pay. I signed there petition. The only thing that bothered me during the strike were:

1.) Unfunny and cheesy super bowl commercials

2.) The lack of really good movies (honestly cloverfield could of been ALOT better)

3.) The shows that were being taken off the air

4.) NO MORE THE OFFICE OH TEH NO!!!!!!!! D': that just broke my heart.....

Other than that (which is all my t.v./movie time) I am please to see they get there dues.

The main problem I had with the strike personally was the lack of consideration for those who worked within the industry that were without jobs besides the writers and performers...all the people behind the scenes, (camera operators, digital effect technicians, audio technicians, etc.). They are the people that get the least recognition and the least pay, and during this they were pushed to the curb without any sort of consideration.  They essentially had to sit on the sidelines with their fingers crossed through out all of this in the hopes that they wouldn't need to resort to working some entry-level, dead end job just to get by until the dust settled.

...also The Office and Heroes..
