If that is true, I wonder why they chose to embrace the competition's graphics API. AMD/ATI aren't bad at OpenGL, which I thought Sony's machines seem to use a form of in recent years.
I wonder if a deal was made or if they chose this to better port PC games to ps4 to try to take some of the market away from Microsoft...weird way of going about it though, imo.
