New Title Screen

Tell me what you think of the new title. It's for my Zelda game which is going to be emotional and dark. so give me some thoughts....

exactly it looks a bit blurry, but that is probably because it is in .jpg format.

Wow. This is actually a TON like what I was planning on doing for my titlescreen, but not so dark and with zelda and link. I like how you pulled it off, but yeah, uploading it as a png would make it look a lot less blurry. Anyways, it's fantastic looking, especially for a moody game dubbed Shadow Dreams.

Well, if Link is going to be evil then it's not bad at all. I like the idea and how it's presented (as far as layout), but I can't really say much else because of the quality and format you've saved the pic as. For instance, the sword looks awful, but it could just be quality issues with the pic.

You should be able to save as PNG, even with Paint, unless you have a really old version. If you aren't sure, open the original title picture (the non-jpeg one) in Paint and click the main menu drop-down list (I think it's a drop-down in all versions of Paint?). From that list choose the "save as" and check the drop-down list or whatever kind of list there is from there. You should be able to choose the format to save in.
Sorry, I suck at explaining, but you should be able to do this because it really isn't hard at all.

lol i always end up using jpg instead of png xD, as for the topic, it is very cool but ites a bit blurry.

Looks better, but the image still looks like it is a bit blurry, but it might be because you used jpg pics to make it and the jpg artifacts were already there.  Here is my try at it. Didn't take long, but I figured heck why not.  I love the concept by the way.


Put them side by side for comparison.

Yeah I have a tendency to lean that way sometimes, but may I ask what program did you use to make the title screen?  

Also, I changed the font on bottom to give more of a creepy feel, but I still am not completely sure about it.  Also, the placement of the sword was bugging me if it only came infront of the Z at the bottom it would fall.  So I made it intertwine with the Z.

What would be really sick is if you had Link's hand wrapped around the hilt (unless that doesn't fit with the game idea here). Anyway, with Bludleef's "revised" version, I have to agree that it does lean a little too much toward the cartoon look, which takes away from the darkness of it. I do like Link's face in Bludleef's better because it looks more devious.
I think it's the brightness of most of it that ruins the dark feel of it; mainly the sword's brightness. I really like that revision though Bludleef! You've got talent.

IMO it looks ugly now. Also, I liked Veren's hair / link's face. I liked the Master Sword, but I don't think it should be... giving off light. Try it just a normal Master sword with no glow, but slightly dark/shadowed. Anyways, ugly was a As Opposed to the earlier ones... No offense intended.

Yes! Much better. Maybe a little less dark on the handle, but it looks many times better.
