Got mine day one and picked up quite a few of the games. Really pleased with the system so far, only real things im displeased about is the lack of PSone classic support at the moment and I think the memory card capacity at the moment is too small.

Filled my 16gb and we didn't get the 32gb's in the UK ;(.

Heard they're making bigger ones though :D

The only ads I hate are the ones that are basically TV ads and they are autoplay and autosound when you have to look for the bastards to pause/mute them.

Those ad's I seriously hate, !@#$% get's in the way when I'm looking at !@#$%.

Played the demo to Mafia 2. Hated every minute of it. So boring, and dull and just... Eh. No buy for me.

However there is one concern, and
Don't leave me hanging!

Aha that was part of a post I made on another topic. On a completely different forum. How the hell did that find its way to the bottom of my post on here O_O

One is Project: My World (http://playmyworld.com/) look's like a nice bit of fun to doss around with from time to time.

But the other project I am way more interested in, It's called Infinity and for those who have played Space Sim games I think this is something you will enjoy. http://www.infinity-universe.com

One of it's main features it likes to boast about is the seamless space to planet transition show cased in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3muhlQYFgLE

What this guy has done, is make a Galaxy made up of billions of stars and even more planets and is giving the player free run of the Galaxy, it's an MMO and it seem's it gives the player complete freedom to even make your own city on your own planet (yes you can own your own planets). My only problem is that this whole thing could go to waste on an X style space sim =/

Right so, everyone is dead yeah? I mean that's the general notion of "walking into the light". I can understand that the whole "Flash Sideways" was more like a Purgatory rather then an alternate reality.

Kate and Ford were on the plane that left the island along with Richard, Miles and Frank, now according to the ending Ford and Kate died (cos they were in the church) so what happened to Miles, Frank and Richard?

Also Hugo and Ben took over as "Jacob" but yet according to the ending Hugo was dead aswell, as was Ben really, even though he didn't go into the Church so er... aww !@#$% I just confused myself -_-

Yeah basically if they are all dead then what happened to Frank, Miles, Richard, Ben, Dan and that Ginger haired chick?!

In all fairness though, I still preferred FlashForward =D

Nintendo put the 3D depth slider on it. I would not know of any other purpose for it.

Ahh so the 3D is pretty much optional?

Quote
Yes they added motion controls. If you say that Nintendo is going completely the wrong way with this. Then I would say: Don't like it, don't buy it.

Oh !@#$% sakeee. Deff no buy then, motion control is completely the wrong direction it's okay for something like a party console (the Wii) but just no, not for a handheld. Something that's portable, for use on the go.

Hope to God Motion Control isn't going to become the norm for game controlling -_-.

Backwards compatable with DS and DSi games :D

Also, it's pretty sweet. OoT3d and SF643d are a couple of throwback titles, and then of course Kid Icarus looks damned sweet.

Basically from the videos, it looks like a handheld Wii

Good about the BC then, OoT3D? !@#$% yes, never played Star Fox 64 so may end up with that aswell :P.

Handeld Wii? Please dont tell me they added motion Controls?!

I'm making this topic to hear your thoughts on the 3DS. And also because I know !@#$% all about it.

Most I can add to the table is that I like the look of it, though I notice how it only has 1 analog stick and no one seems to be bitching about it (when everyone bitched about the PSP's 1 analog stick).

Is this one going to be Backwards Compatible with DS games? I don't think there's a GBA slot but yeah if it is I may just get one to replace my DS being as my DS is so old now.

I've come to the conclusion that over-hyped games are always lackluster if you play them waaay after the hype's done.

I just got No More Heroes for Wii...

Writing = good. It's comical.

Visuals = !@#$% ass ugly. Goddamn, it looks like the playstation puked up a city and the Wii polished it with a shitty shading system :\

Gameplay = WHAT THE !@#$%? When the hell is it acceptable to have clunky controls and shitty camera angles!? This game would have been AWESOME 15 years ago when the playstation was taking charge, but now... this !@#$% isn't acceptable :\ The game plays as if it were programmed by a monkey on crack.

:\ I'm very disappointed, and even more disappointed that 99% of Wii users hyped this game up as the best thing since sliced bread... Ffff.

/rant

Well it is a Wii game :P

But in all seriousness, played it at a mates house. Dont miss it.

Borderlands, TF2, CSS, etc. I've never cared for the CoD games either.

yeah so far Borderlands is pretty much cemented as best choice. TF2 I've never really been a fan of tight butthole, not interested in Valve games bar HL, and sometimes CS. Modern Warfare 1 and WaW had pretty good multiplayer, MW2 sucks !@#$% though, so gonna wait and see for Black Ops.

Well, Borderlands is probably my all-time favorite game; I'd say stick with that one :p

Really can't go wrong with it XD. Make's me wonder why MW2 get's all the hype as "best multiplayer game ever" then I remember the audience its for...

I really enjoy Cube 2: Sauerbraten... but I'm cheap.

never even heard of it O_O? any info?

So far this is my findings;

Modern Warfare 2 is the, hands down, worst multiplayer game ever.

Followed closely by Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is pretty damn good just as long as you get on a decent server where people actually know how to play the game. And not a server full of people who couldn't even team work there way out of a bag.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is good as long as you only play co-op.

Borderlands is solid and fun.

Modern Warfare can be fun until you find the servers with the sad act types.

Battlefield 2 is !@#$% online but Project Reality is awesome online (though that is now coming to Arma 2).

I've not tried many games, would love to play some ArmA 2 online but need to get me new laptop first, and some games are just terrible ideas for online -_- anyone else wanna add?

Apple is evolving. First, they wanted us to wear 3D iPod glasses. Now, they don't want us to wear any glasses, in a 3D holographic environment with a multitouch interface.
(Source: http://gizmodo.com/5538261/apples-patent-for-holographic-multitouchable-3d-interfaces-without-stupid-glasses).

iPad that jumps out? ;D

As long as the multiplayer isn't as broken and shitty as MW2 yeah I'll play it. New setting so should be decent, right? D:

Treyarch has always been superior in multiplayer in my opinion, so it should be good. And I have hope the single player campaign will now have more of a story than WaW based on what I saw in that trailer. There won't just be one new setting either, it's set at different time periods during the Cold War, so you'll be ranging from Vietnam, to Korea, to Soviet Russia (spy !@#$%), and probably South America too. I'm obviously more pumped than every other ZFGCer on this though.

yeah I quite liked WaW's multiplayer, should really buy that game again. I lvoed the bootcamp part, where it pitted you against people of your skill set. Plus this one map had a bell tower which I just owned at sniping from :3
