« on: March 01, 2009, 07:01:30 pm »I was pretty interested in this as well. Those Digg articles about a kid making thousands of dollars for making "fart" apps for the iPhone can do that. I used my cousins MacBook to get it, and we made something really simple. So next my brother and I tried to install Mac OSX on his new dell laptop so we could get it too and have other mac stuff. Didn't work out so well though, mac didn't install, windows decided to be a !@#$% and not start up or even allow a reinstallation after reformatting, so yeah.. I wish we used VMWare instead..
Ow, !@#$%. I wouldn't even try to use a laptop as a Hackintosh.
Anyway, you could always do actual homebrew and program unofficially using the Toolchain for Windows. For more information, I'd check this out as well as any iPod touch fansites.
Try Googling for "jailbreak" as well.
