Discussion / Re: iPhone Applications
« on: March 01, 2009, 07:01:30 pm »
I was pretty interested in this as well. Those Digg articles about a kid making thousands of dollars for making "fart" apps for the iPhone can do that. I used my cousins MacBook to get it, and we made something really simple. So next my brother and I tried to install Mac OSX on his new dell laptop so we could get it too and have other mac stuff. Didn't work out so well though, mac didn't install, windows decided to be a !@#$% and not start up or even allow a reinstallation after reformatting, so yeah.. I wish we used VMWare instead..

Ow, !@#$%. I wouldn't even try to use a laptop as a Hackintosh.

Anyway, you could always do actual homebrew and program unofficially using the Toolchain for Windows. For more information, I'd check this out as well as any iPod touch fansites.

Try Googling for "jailbreak" as well.

I run a pirated version of XP on Boot Camp. I'm not Nazi, I just like Macs better.

Fix'd.

Next month, Watchmen comes out...and it's rated an 18 by the British Board of Film Classification. Damn their oily hides! I won't be able to see it until it comes out on DVD or there's a half-decent pirate out ;__;

Entertainment / Re: DeadSpace coming to the Wii! :o
« on: February 04, 2009, 07:31:59 pm »
I have a few minor problems with this announcement.

Quote
EA has confirmed today that the hit J-horror game 'Dead Space' will be coming to the Wii! The game will be a port of the 360/PS3 title, and EA promises to keep it "high quality". The game is apparently due out earlier this year.

1. Dead Space is a J-horror game now? The J being for Japanese? I highly doubt that, seeing as Dead Space is banned in Japan.

2. Earlier this year? How can you release something "earlier this year"? You're basically saying "we're going to release it six months ago". YOU CAN'T RELEASE THINGS IN THE PAST.

Updates / Re: New warning mod installed

Doesn't SMF 2.0 have a built in warning system?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see we're running on 1.1.7.

And what's wrong with the DICKBUTT? DICKBUTT is awesome, I've been planning on incorporating it for commenting and a few other things on my website.
DICKBUTT is fine. Its just unneccessary with out website, it overcomplicates matters and isn't used to its potential. Also; Windy fails at DICKBUTT programming.
Lies. I'm pretty good with DICKBUTT programming, when it's used in a proper manner, ie. not the way you've done it >_______________>

Yeh I'm lazy and cut corners like mad :P. Given however that I did the whole site with no help in a short space of time, despite the fact I hate web design, don't expect perfection.

Are you serious? ZFGC looks smexy, the first time I saw this design I thought it was mocking me and my pitiful web design skills before getting it on with my girlfriend.

I wish I had a girlfriend.

The only thing I don't like, and just noticed, is that when you hit the Preview button, the background for the preview box is a horrible grey. D:

There's a font called Roxy that looks somewhat similar to OoT.  It doesn't come with Windows though, it's summfink you have to pay for.

Coughtorrentscough. That's how I got MasonSans, though, and that's a hard font to track down. >.>;

Joining now, assuming it's still up.

EDIT: This server is empty. This upsets me. *goes to invite some people*

EDIT 2: I lagged a lot (possibly my fault) but I played on it with Colby for a while. Fun serv.

If he's anything like Lucy he gets my vote :D.

Jalapeño would have won if he had thick outlines. Hint: give him thick outlines. Your style looks like one that seriously needs thick outlines.

Graphics / Re: Anyone here able to convert and rig a .x 3d model for me?
« on: February 01, 2009, 09:41:35 pm »
I can convert it for you no problem, don't think I can rig it though, I'm !@#$% poor at that too. D;

EDIT: All right, well, I was intending to convert it into 3DS, but uh, I'm having some troubles with my modelling software, so I just opened it up in fragMOTION instead. Here's an MS3D and an OBJ. Is that good enough?

« on: February 01, 2009, 06:52:23 pm »
Hmm, I've never played Banjo Tooie on Project64, so I can't really help, but you could try the FAQ that comes with Project64, it gives some good advice most of the time. You could try using a different emulator; may I recommend Nemu64?

EDIT: Or you could wait for the XBLA release.

HOLY !@#$% THIS LOOKS AMAZING. I absolutely love Golden Sun, best GBA RPG and quite possible one of the best RPGs full stop. I'll have to give this editor a shot later on, looks pretty damn impressive. ;)

Interesting little piece, I quite like it. Would have been awesomer if it sounded a bit more 8-bit though, although that's just my opinion. It also doesn't seem to have a definite ending, which is frustrating. It ends too abruptly.

And it's only 11 seconds. D:
