Would be cool if the Subrosians from OoS/OoA was in it.
The land of Subrosia is not of particular interest for the PZE team, as they are only visually a different world. Technically, it is same with land of Holodrum, just different tileset, music and NPC sprites.
Well I only meant the race themselves but I see what you mean. A little disappointing though as I had hoped to try my hand at remaking OoS or OoA when the engine is released, so I'd gather your team is only focusing on specific things and not everything Zelda.

This certainly is an awesome project, I would surely like to try it once it's done, it would also be awesome if an Oracle of Seasons/Ages-esque engine like this would be created in the future.

I can't help but think Skyward Sword has a graphic style in between that of Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker but mainly because of the detail and how colourful it is.

Nice, it looks kind of like a paper mario styled Super Smash Brothers.

Entertainment / GFWL connection problems
« on: April 19, 2010, 06:10:44 am »
Every time I try to connect it tells me "The profile could not be signed in to live. There may be a network problem or the windows live ID service may not be available" and the network settings display tell me internet ip not signed in and upnp not signed in. I've experienced this problem with Gears of War & Red Faction Guerrilla but not with my other live games, also I am using wireless and wonder if it is affecting the few games preventing them from connecting to gfwl, I've even looked up problems other people have had concerning this on the live forums and tried their solutions but to no avail.

(I am not so sure if this should go into tech forum because this seems game related)

I always thought the third oracle game's side race would be the Deku Scrubs :P

I never thought of it that way, I just assumed they would be scattered about just like the other two games.

Looks great and yes I agree with Bludleef a Oracle of secrets game needs to be made, and speaking of the OoX games I had an idea myself even though this may seem a little off topic but, you know with the gorons, the tokay and the subrosians? I was thinking how OoA involved more of the gorons and a smaller portion of tokay and with OoS Involving more of the Subrosians and a smaller amount of gorons then would that make a third OoX game involve more of the tokay and a small amount of subrosians? :P

I get the feeling that they will redo the game boy camera (minus game boy) idea next.

I can't decide weather to get heart gold or soul silver because the differences in pokemon exclusive to each title has tied with me in a 2 vs 2 way as there is 2 pokemon in heart gold that I like that aren't in soul silver and viceversa.
 :P

Nice fabrication, but "the other oracle game" was a third GBC title that was canceled due to password system errors between the other two games. The one you showed was a poorly pieced together april fools joke.
So there was going to be a third title, too bad about them canceling it as I would've enjoyed it just like I did with the other two.
:P

Random question, but you know in Knights of the Old Republic: In Korriban, did any of you manage to leave it in any playthrough with more light side points than you entered with?

I was talking to a friend of mine a few days ago about this game when I realised I never managed to play light side on that one world XD Usually I went there either first or near the end of a play-through, either so I could use the other worlds as redemption, or use that world as my characters final 'fall' into Darkness =P

Anyone actually resist the little voice saying "Mwahahaha look at all the video game cruelty potential here hehehehehe"?
One thing I do know is if you turn against both master uther and his apprentice you will get light side points.

Looks like I'm going to have to skip this one just like with the phantom hourglass, at least there is the new wii Zelda title to look forward too.

If it actually comes to a time when steam dominates and games stop being sold retail you won't be able to resort to ordering the banned game from overseas.

I have only ever played the first and second and I am yet to play 3 as well as ODST but then I would have to buy a xbox 360 and a second hand one is not an option considering the RRoD chance, also there isn't many xbox 360 only games besides them that actually appeal to me so it will be just for the two and I won't be able to play their online multiplayer modes.  :P

Ah, this appears to be the exact same show I can remember. Well thanks for that. :)

Entertainment / Can't remember the name of a certain old animated tv show.
« on: September 24, 2009, 09:32:41 am »
Well there was this show which I think was on ether abc or bbc and I am trying to remember what it was called, all I can remember in the show was: In the intro there was this giant turtle swimming through space which looked like it had a flat world on top of its shell and some Arabic kind of music playing, also there was a magic guitar and a musician who took up playing it and recruited a saxophone playing gnome and some stone man playing some other sort of instrument, the grim reaper was also in this and had a niece who was in some sort of orphan house, I also remember being told that this series was originally based on a novel. If you do know what show I am talking about then I would appreciate it if you can tell me the name of it.

What? The 360 is a great system, and has a LOT of good games.

However, that said, the PS3 tends to have exclusives of a... higher calibur.

If you're looking for a good 360 game, download Shadow Complex.
From what I heard, the ps3 turns out to be a lot harder to develop for then the other consoles.
