Really, pictures are okay. But we don't know if the game play is any good at all.

I'm not trying to be rude, but saying something like that doesn't exactly help...ahmio's just posting screenshots of his progress. There should be a downloadable demo, as well.

Indeed. Let us know if you need any more sprite additions. Also, are those my Link holding a Deku Stick edits? If so, I'd like community input on them because I think they can be improved.

Does the flame bounce around as Link moves (on the deku stick)? If so, that would be neat.

Then you definitely didn't play it through, because you where able to kill queen Gohma and get the kokiri emerald!

8.98 MB!?! I recommend asking around to see how you can minimize that file size. At the rate you're going the whole game will be too big for any computer!

EDIT: Here's what I've got so far:

-Name registration, you might want to include a shortcut. When the player presses start the cursor should go straight to the 'end' button.
-You totally missed the Kokiri Forest tour with Navi. Not sure if you're putting it in later or not.
-Two sounds play at once when I open the menu. The save game sound and the open menu sound.
-There are no sounds for throwing or lifting pots
-The house introduction plays twice. Make the intro to the house theme a separate music from the loopable part
-Link butt slides when rolling. Animation should be faster.
-Mido will strafe when I'm not even close to him. (I'm swimming in the lake and watching him block my path)
-The shop is missing a blue rupee in the corner
-There is no wading sound for when Link is motionless in the water.
-There is no dive text for the A button when Link is in water.
-There is no jumping sound.
-The stump with the blue rupee on it has what looks like a doorway on it. Maybe you should get rid of that.
-The path looks weird. Especially by the cliff to the Kokiri Sword.
-There is no opening to exit the Kokiri Forest.
-The inside parts of the trees are transparent.
-In the Lost Woods, the log tunnels should have separate layers. The first is the ground layer that Link can walk over, the second is the top layer that Link is under.
-The menu has no sound for moving the cursor
-There is no exit for the Lost Woods.
-There is no save confirmation when I save the game.
-I can't scroll through the menus.
-The chest bug from last time is still there. I can't get out of it this time though.
-There's no description text in the menu when you highlight stuff.

You changed the controls. Q and E are now the scrolling menu controls, just so everyone knows.

NEW DEMO!!!


I'm sorry to say this, but I can describe your demo in 1 word: HORRIBLE!

I've tried the demo a half dozen times, before I erased it from my harddrive. The reason: I couldn't get to the Deku Tree. My computer crashes once I get to a different area than Kokiri Forest. If I go to the Lost Woods or in a house, the memory usage goes through the roof and there is continuously reading and writing from and to the HD. It literally takes a minute to process a key press at that moment.

I think you have to look over your code.
