NaviBlast is being featured at DemoCamp here shortly; it'll have a venue of about 180 people, most of which are execs in the gaming industry. Tonight will be the first public showing of the game deployed on the Xbox 360.

After DemoCamp, there will be a sit-down dinner between Stephen (programmer), MJ (pseudo-publisher; financial backer. Former employee of Cambrian House, current member of Broken Kings), and the Microsoft Evangelist (who's name eludes me. I'll tell you all when I hear back from Stephen), and they will be going over release details for the Xbox 360.

If all goes well, we could see a release of NaviBlast for the Xbox 360 soon!

What about Nintendo's copyright of navi?

What does Nintendo have to do with the word "Navi"? Navi is short for Navigation, not the fairy o.0;; lol the whole point of the game is to navigate through puzzles.

The original only had a superficial zelda theme that was only put into place to get it into the contest; it was completely verbal (the association between zelda and the game), and had really nothing to do with the original whatsoever.

If it makes it to 360, I'll be sure to try it out and tell my friends about it. Would there be a demo available?

Indeed; he's been an excellent programmer and comanager on the project :D I'm very impressed with all of the work and effort he's put into it :p

I should also mention, I've made him the co-owner of the project. It's a shared intellectual property now. NaviBlast belongs to both he and I equally ^_^

Oh snap Yubel I didn't mean to skip your question---

If it goes to arcade, there will be a demo available with limited gameplay. I personally was thinking about having a demo out with 1 level from each of the difficulty settings. That gives 5  levels to play from, and shows the range in difficulty in the game.

Looks awesome Mammy. Good luck with trying to get it to arcade.

Indeed. We signed out the appropriate forms, including the NDA regarding what's in those forms, etc so it's just a matter of time really. Right now we're networking ^_~
