Captain Awesome: I will stop Major Evil and all of his giant robots with my bare fists and my massive weapons stash.
Princess: CAPTAIN AWESOME!

*puts on sunglasses*
Captain Awesome: AWESOME!
*flies away*
The game is Rule of Awesome. You play as Captain Awesome who's superpower involves being able to do anything as long as it's completely awesome. I want the game to have the Rocket Knight Adventures feel to it. This game will have as much awesome things packed into it as possible. Ninjas, giant robots, hoverboards, etc. When you attack, Captain Awesome will attack using a random weapon and then throw it away. Killing enemies fills up your AWESOME! meter. When your AWESOME! meter is filled, Captain Awesome puts on his sunglasses and you can use your AWESOME! energy to do a random super awesome finishing move that kills all or most of the enemies on the screen. After-which, the sunglasses are destroyed. When you start a boss battle, a sequence will happen that shows Captain Awesome's sunglasses being broken. Your awesome meter will go down to 0. Hitting the boss in specific places fills up the awesome meter slowly. Once the awesome meter fills up, Captain Awesome will perform a boss-specific finishing move.

Close up on eyes. *sheen* All enemies on screen die.
Energy collects in both hands like balls. Shoots Ki beam.

If anyone wants to help me with such a project, give the word. I need at the help I can get and would love to make this game a reality

I've had sooo much fun playing this game. It is the best 15 dollars I ever spent. The only trouble is the online issues. Anyways: Anyone else playing this game? And would anyone want to do a ZFGC playthrough sometime?

So I'm trying to make some custom characters for Soul Calibur 4. Some original ones that I have without looking on the internet for the recipes are Crono, Phage The Untouchable, Cecil (Dark)(FFIV), and Kain (FFIV). Any obscure things that you guys think I should try?

Our race, as a whole, is very much in love with it's own sense of humanity and what it truly means to be human. The trouble is, everything breaks down and becomes more than a little unpleasant when we try to define what that actually means. The first things that usually come to mind are the noble “Hollywood†traits: notions such as love, honour, or conscious thought. But does not a dog care for her young? Don't bears defend their territory if another animal trespasses against it? Doesn't a snake evaluate the situation before it strikes? If were are going to define what makes us human, we have to find what traits we posses that other animals do not. One might say that our ability to change our environment for personal gain makes us unique, however beavers will decimate large forests with floods and dams.
So what sets us apart? What makes is human? The answer is hatred. There is no other creature in this world that could possibly wish the ill-fate of another for a futile attempt at some sort of emotional relief. A hippopotamus will kill to protect it's space. A wolf will kill for dominance. A lion will kill to eat for another day. However none of these animals will kill because it would “make them feel betterâ€.
Now the question I would like to leave you with is this: If a person was unable to hate, would that make him “inhuman� And is that necessarily a bad thing?

So... I want to play Sonic CD in Vista. I have two options: Install my old copy of Sonic CD and have it look like garbage because of the lack of vsync, plus have to switch into 256 color mode every single time I want to play or I can use the Sega CD version that doesn't have the awesome music... >> << >>

So how do I make it so when I hit "All Programs" I'll get a popup like in all the previous versions of Windows and not the stupid thing that it does?
Don't tell me to go to XP or anything. I don't care. Either way I'd rather have Gentoo on my laptop, but I need Windows for certain college things. I'm not removing one OS that I hate in favor of another OS that I hate.

Entertainment / The Rock Band/Guitar Hero debate.

The two companies behind these games seem to be at a disagreement. Harmonix wants Guitar Hero controllers to work with Rock Band, but Activision wants to be "compensated". Here's what I think:
THEY SHOULD TRADE. They should have an agreement where they make a patch that allows Guitar Hero controllers to work with Rock Band and Rock Band guitars work with Guitar Hero!
Or does that just make too much sense?
