Title: This topic is about the horror genre
Post by: Walnut on May 06, 2009, 03:58:59 am: My favorite horror game is Condemned. It is great because its the only game I've ever played that would make me jump AND be able to psychologically scare me. Neither Resident Evil nor Silent Hill can do both.

I've never tried the Condemned but it does look pretty creepy. Dead Space, now there's a game I gotta try. Some say it's a little spooky then gets predictable after a while though =/

It is available on the SEGA Genesis. I've never been the same since playing this game. It gave me nightmares for weeks, even months.

LOL. I remember I tried that game out on the Sega Channel... yeah it was pretty creepy.

Cool thing I had a chic with me though watching(I couldn't start crying that'd been bad lol /off-topic).

SH:HC is pretty hard-core dark.

I never got a chance to play the F-F game at all.
I heard Siren was pretty bad for a horror game.

Siren is actually an excellent horror game. I watched someone play through all of it and I was actually really freaked out, even watching on a bad quality stream. The last battle is extremely stupid though, but it makes up for it with the badass ending scene.

I think that's only in Homecoming, I haven't beaten any of the other ones. Homecoming has a few different ones.

There's a UFO ending in every Silent Hill. All of them have weird alternate endings, my personal favorite is the dog ending.

Just curious. If you haven't been here before, why did you remove the "and ZFGC staff" part from your reply title? Seems like any normal member who hasn't been here before would just leave it as they wouldn't have any idea of it's significance.
