Should be changed to "Nothing you can see"

Since you really cant be doing "nothing".

:P This is a little trivial... IMO it's fine the way it is; no sense changing it now anyway since it'd go back to normal once we upgrade

The text "Nothing, or nothing you can see..." kind of implies a secretive aspect, the phrasing is not meant to be directly read as literal.

Actually you can, its also used for actions that the forum software dosen't understand or dosen't have an caption for, thus you could be doing nothing for all it knows.

Yeah, unless it was changed recently, the act of solving reports or something similar still says "Unknown Action" on the Who's Online list.

But, I am guessing that this is under default: so, what 4sword said "unkown action" would be favorable.

"Unknown Action" is more of a technical term to describe what Infini said in that the forum software does not have a means of knowing what is going on because it is not defined standard; most release candidates for SMF have all actions covered, but when modifications are added on, possible new actions are not understood because they are new and not recognized by the forum software as a whole.  The "Nothing, or nothing you can see..." is a defined term because the forum software has it set for actions based on usergroups; i.e. viewing a board or actions in a board that are restrictive to usergroup.  

Then again, there are occasions where guests will show up on the Who's Online list as "Nothing, or nothing you can see...", so I am not sure what that is about.  The boards that are off-limits to guests may give them that term for some reason when they try to view them; search bots are inquisitive.

Not everything is an issue, this board also has the purpose of entertaining opinions if they are relevant to the forum.  Interestingly enough, on a previous iteration of the forum I once brought up how the previous phrase made no sense; it was something like "Nothing, or nothing you cannot see".
