(I will update as I develop some ideas for this, but atm what do you think?)

Name:
The Wolfo(Wolvens)
Alpha Wolfo
***The image is not made by me: by purrclops***

Location:
Forest and Woodland Areas
White ones appear in Snowy Areas(If these areas exists)

Appearance:
Wolf-Like Creatures, with glowly green eyes. They appear either in alone, in a pair, and the worse of them all, in a pack.

HP:
Normal: 3 HP
White: 4HP
Alpha: 6HP

Description
When alone or in Pairs: They will attack the player, and or ambush.
When in a Pack: They will surround the player, and the Alpha will come to fight you, killing it will make the others run off.

In-Game Description
None ATM

Attack List
Slash- They will slash the player 2 times for 2/4 hearts.
Bite-Their bite will make the player lose 3/4 hearts.
Lunge- They will lunge at the player, pushing them back and dealing 1/4 heart damage.
blocking- They will be able to block randomly, when attacked.

(When they bite, lunge or slash, their guard is 100% down.)

Alpha Mode:
When fighting an Alpha, about 3 Wolfos will circle the player, preventing escape, during this, in the ceneter, the player will fight the Alpha Wolfo who shares the same attack pattern has its other wolf brotherens.

If the player were to kill off the Alpha, all Wolfos surronding you will run away(for a side quest like feature one Wolfo will befirend the player if it is possible to added in. This wolfo will act as an ally for Link when called.)

If the player were to have the DANGER(really low HP) singal on HP, all Wolfos will begin to attack.

Weakness:
Fire

*** The aim here is to match the Stalhounds from TP, but with Wolfos ***

This is a nice idea, and all that, but sounds kind of hard to defeat them. Have in mind that not letting the player escape make it even harder. I like hard and challenging games, but, maybe, if they were somewhat easier, it'd be better.

Theres a little issue with this, there are no snow areas so how'd we have white wolfos in snow areas if there aren't any snow areas. :P

You should probably read the design doc so you know what areas there are.

You said they're supposed to be like Stalhounds, well stalhounds were designed to be fought by wolf link, so I'd be quite a bit difficult to fight them if your planning on having them similar to the Stalhounds of TP.

Which would have to get approved first,
though if you think about it,
if people don't read the design doc it'll be a bit of a problem.

NO !@#$%, really? I had NO idea reading the design doc was helpful! Also, good thing you're around to remind people of the rules they already know! Wow.

Also, who are you to say that a white wolfos is necessarily from a snowy area? That's like saying anything white comes from a snowy area which is full retard. What about albino breeds of animals?

I'm was just going through the thing saying what conflicts it has currently, I'm not saying that it can't be changed. I'm just saying that there is no snow area in the doc, and he said that the White wolfos is only found in snowy areas. I never said that it can't go anywhere else, it's just that curently it'd be in a location that's not even planned.

lol I think of a way to not make them hard when they surround you.

Also I did say Woodland areas too, I only mention snowy areas because I thought, there were snowy areas in game.

EDIT:
Well they can surround the player, but they will only push you back in the center to fight the alpha Wolfo, but they circle the player in 1 pattern. So instead of walking, you can roll out of the circle, however, they will all begin to chase and attack you.

I was also thinking that after a side-quest, a female Wolfo befriends Link, and when called, can attack some of the enmies on screen. If called normally, it will follow the player around, also it can grab rupees/hearts for the player.

It cannot go inside dungeons(however dungeons with outside parts are an expection), cannot be summon in towns or villages.

Hmmmm...I'm not sure about this, mainly because it sounds more annoying than fun. It does sound like these are more of a challenge to defeat...not that I dislike challenge, but it sounds more like an annoyance than anything.

First of all, after making that overview I prefer to have the Locations section be actual areas in the game and what the surrounding might be.

Linkwolf48 I appreciate your contributions. However this one is really complex. Mostly because you mix a couple of variations (in behavior) through one another. It just makes it so confusing that you even need video of similar enemies to explain it all.

I don't think it is good. Unless Linkwolf48 can make his descriptions better (read simple and practical) I don't think it is acceptable.

It also sounds very difficult to damage them, as they can block you attacks, and are only definitely vulnerable when they're attacking, so hitting them would hurt you... Wolfos work well in 3D, but are more difficult in 2D. Maybe if they were greatly simplified, we could accept them, but not as complicated as this submission.

So, should we reject or ask Linkwolf to revise/dumb down the submission?

I'll see what I can do, yeah I thought about and not every player wants these guys to shows many times unexpected.
So I'll make a revision on this later, to give everyone a heads up, these Wolfos will only appear as a 1 time event, beating them grants the player access to an area.
And awesome point they help the player, similar to how the zok monkey help Link in TP.

But if Link has to fight them, why would they then offer help?

I like the idea of them as a Miniboss type thing for area access, I think that's awesome. Maybe some wolfos in the mountains before you can get into the Goron area, or if there's a snowy region up there, fighting white wolfos to get in there.

They only help Link if you defeat/kill the alpha Wolfo, afterwards the all Wolfos but one female Wolfo helps you out, by dealing with obstacles on the way to the forest temple.
After you are done with the forest temple, the female Wolfo that helped you before can be seen playing with other Wolfo nearby the dungeon in a meadow. Plus you will never be attacked by forest Wolfos.

But that would make the Forest Maze be useless (which hasn't been approved yet. Wonder what happened with it?).

Well these wolfos can be within a certain part of the maze, whereas the other wolfo pack will still attack you.
Plus these guys remain near the forest temple area, after the maze due to cliaming that area and where Link defeats the Alpha.

Personally, I don't like the befriending a wolfo thing, it confuses me. Why would a creature you attack be friendly after you defeat it? it's a wild animal. I just don't think it would add much positive to the game, when there isn't any particular reason you would need a wolfo to do something for you. Maybe some other moderator has a different opinion?

I think the strength of the wolfo enemy is that they're like a notch down from Miniboss, they're difficult to kill and only pop up as a battle before you can get into an area. Making them into a pack that befriends you and helps you tackle a maze thing takes away from some of this, I think.
