Started working on this last week, not sure how long it will be until I lose interest, but still, I hope to at least release a demo with at least one complete level.  So anyway.. thoughts?

It's great looking, but my cellphone screen... is too small for that. Actually, the screen is probably less than an inch in width, and less in height. To all metric users, that's one small ass phone I have. But I still think this looks amazing.

yeah, I'd say it's just the collisions that are a problem now.
I've completely mapped out the first level, all that's left is to get sounds and the rest of the sprites I'm missing and I'll be able to release a demo.

Looks really neat =P But how will it play on a mobile phone? I can't imagine walking, running and jumping with those small buttons on a mobile phone =/

Well I was able to finally test it on a proper phone (not mine of course, mine sucks lol) due to gettin' my bluetooth dongle working.  It seemed to run alright, no major lagging issues.  Was a little small though, so I may release a blown up version.  As for the controls, I wouldn't say they are *that* bad, I used two hands, one for moving vertically, and the other for horizontally.
I think I'm very close to having a demo finished.  The first demo will consist of the first level (minus a few things).  This will mainly be a test demo that I'll release to beta testers so I can get proper feedback on how it runs (or doesn't run ;p). Then I'll go ahead and release a proper formal demo.

Everyone who knows me here knows how I feel about mobile games, needless to say I WANT IT! lol the normal Mario Mobile games suck arse but yours looks awesome, this could do for mario what Gortwogh has done for Zelda Mobile.

Sorry guys.  I just don't have the time anymore for the CP.  Working two jobs and just having a couple hours to play my Wii and continue learning programming just is not leaving me free time to focus on the CP.  I feel that it's my obligation to step aside as Level Director.  It's just a time issue.  Since I am also a global mod that also takes some of my focus from the CP.  So, it's nothing against anybody or what not, I'm just out of time anymore it seems.  Sorry again.
