Hello everybody!
I'm great fan of old adventures like Legend of Zelda and long time i dream to make game in this style. At first I have drawn a little mockup:

..and than that has inspired me to make a real game.

At current stage I have made design-doc, one tileset + sprites for the first world and basic gameplay objects. Here is fragment of des-doc:

For map creation I use awesome tool - Tiled Map Creator. It very convenient.

So! I hope you like it (lol) :3 Demo version will be released early next month.
And here there are some video (in this video isn't present weapons or enemies because work still in progress) from early-early game prototype:

Looked at the demo and this looks rad! I really dig the graphics, they're very nice and I like the different things going on, from a sunny village to this dark creepy dungeon, how it's all done well.

Watching the trailer was sweet, but the sound effect you've got for opening gates- it's really loud, and a lot longer than the opening takes. I was also curious about the tiles you move with your mouse- do they make it possible to get stuck at certain points? I feel like I'd shoot a tile off one way without thinking, and then wouldn't be able to get it back, and I'd be stuck. I just couldn't tell if that was addressed because the trailers, the player made no mistakes whatsoever, really. I also didn't see what happens if you get hurt, or fall or something.

Other than those two small things, though I'm really digging this, especially the look of it.

Liking the graphics you've got there! But as DNFTM said, the sound effects need to better match the actions onscreen. Not sure if I like having to move tiles with the mouse but if it works and it's fluid enough then it might be alright.

That looks epic! Just out of curiosity, what is the boomerang for? Did I also see a hookshot briefly?
