Take some time and think about this. For me, it was not my favorite series when I first came here. I simply came here because Moldorma said it was fun. At different times in my life it has become my favorite series. Right now it is not and I don't see it ever being. Though I still love the games. What about you?

It used to be, back when MM was released. Since then, I've moved on to other franchises, like Halo and TES.

Zelda wasn't my favourite game series before, I used to like the Mario series, then i got back into Ocarina of Time a couple years ago and that made it my favourite game series.

None of the options really fit to me.  I judge a game based by itself; TWW may be one of my favorite games, but it can't speak for the whole series, which is why I played most of the games in the series(I can't play FS though, and I probably won't be able to get PH for a while).  Not all games should be the same just because they're in the same series, because otherwise they'd get a bit boring(well, maybe some games like SSB can be exceptions.  They don't have to change, but they can always add more characters and levels and such).

It hasn't always been my favourite - it couldn't be my favourite back before I played a Zelda game, could it? :P

Zelda has always been my favorite game series. Ever since I got it as my 4th video game in 2000, it was my favorite. My 3 other games for my N64 didn't become favorites.

Naw, Pokemon is and always has been. I'm just here because I'm native to DSR. Zelda is one of my favorites.

Yeah, it's my favourite. I love all Zeldas really... Except Four Swords Adventures, not so much.

My favourite used to be Pokemon. I was very much obsessed with Pokemon. Either way, I switch series all the time. Sometimes I'm into Pokemon, sometimes I'm into Metroid, other times Mario Kart, other times Final Fantasy. But once I got over Pokemon, Zelda has had that special place in my heart.

O__o; half the people at a Zelda fangame community don't actually like the series? Anyway, it's my favourite for a long time now, but it didn't use to be. It use to be Monkey Island, believe or not. I love those games ... anyway, ever since I picked up that NES Zelda cartridge, I've been all for that.

Zelda: Links Awakening was my second game ever (first one was Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the GBC), I have some really good memories about that time. The Legend of Zelda is and has always been my favourite series.

My first Zelda game I ever played was Links Awakening. Although I didn't understand anything of it since I was around 8 years old and didn't understand English. I really liked the game so a few years later I met the best Zelda game ever named: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time I fell that day totally in love with the Zelda serie, and I've been ever since.  :D

Its one of my favorites, so I vote Yes and No.

Lttp was one of my first games, followed my OoT and MM, all three in my opinion are pure gold. Without those games I would have never gotten into gaming like I have, but then the first game I had on the N64 was Mario64 and on the SNES and in fact all other consoles I have owned there have been games that were as good but in different ways.

Oh and I realise the above post may point at me being a Nintendo fanboy but I also owned Sega consoles and through my brother also a PS1, but I must admit due to Nintendo introducing me to gaming I give them a lot of respect, oh and in my opinion at the time I got into Nintendo almost everything I played of theirs was just that bit more refined and more playable (I was playing the SNES).
