Yeah, well, if anyone is still making a character, you could post here to protest, but I feel like we should get this competition started, we've got enough entries, and an amount of people will want to leave for the holidays, best have the competition over before lots of people have left...

I'd like a few more opinions before I give a straight yes, but I will hurry myself up on the bracket pics at least and get some of the design stuff out of the way for the final bracket. Aiming for a Friday start if enough people say yes this needs to start now.

I concur with most of you guys: rushing is a bad thing. It leads to poorly developed ideas and a weak performance. We need to avoid that.

On the other hand, take this in mind: letting the so-called 'memento' die would be terrible as well. If we really wait another month before giving this competition a spin, nobody will care anymore. The ZFGC Character Competition has a tradition of being met by a great deal of sympathy and enthusiasm. It would be a damn shame if we couldn't continue in the footsteps of three years of predecessors.

Personally, I think that waiting until we get 32 characters will take much too long to wait for. We should get started within a week from now.

Oh and Wally; if you need any help with the art, feel free to pm or email me :)
