Entertainment / Re: Outdated Games That Deserve Remakes?
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:05:24 am »
I'll agree with a bunch of these listed. BK, DK, and the first few Spyro games especially.
I was actually really excited to hear that Dragon Quest VII is being remade. I loved it back in the day for the immersive storyline, but the snes looking graphics... not so much.

"What's with that stupid horse of yours?! It doesn't listen to a word that's said to it..."

More like

What's with the weird mask of yours?! It doesn't look like it's supposed too...

I remember one time in Skyrim, I had killed an Argonian pirate, and his body landed back down on a pier. His tail was glitched permanently to that spot... The rest of his body, however, was not. Gave him a 50 foot tail!

I forgot about that one Cleaver; creepy :p

One of the funnier ones for me is in Twilight Princess. Ganondorf getting killed by Zant popping his neck.

Entertainment / Re: Do you guys actually read youtube comments?
« on: October 09, 2010, 03:41:56 am »
I usually read at least the first page of comments. If there is one that catches my attention, I may go farther. I've gone several pages in for conversation of replies...just to read the first comment was as simple as "this game rocks" or something of that nature.

Zelda Projects / Re: [Screens] Majora's Mask remake using UDK

I've got to say this looks amazing!

I've always wanted to see Majora's Mask in modern graphics. However, I think it would be pretty tough to do, since a huge part of mm was in the emotion and artwork and stuff that was easily conveyed through the different colors, textures, models and stuff of the sub par graphics. If it didn't have a lot of this stuff, it really wouldn't be too much in my opinion... I wish you luck, and hope this goes well.

I got fairly far in it. It was enjoyable for the first good while, I got

, then just kinda got bored trying to complete some alchemy recipes... Traded it in today, but may get it again if finances allow eventually.

I'm getting it.

They had Forge in 3, but they've made many more improvements and stuff like that. To the detail you can even alter the terrain I believe. That's one of the main reasons I'm getting it!

Got it last week. Just an hour here and there....besides today lol about 4 hours. Got everything around 25. I think I may start going back and actually taking advantage of the natures and stuff....

My battle with Ecruteak gym leader was freaking awesome.
Wiped his minor team with my kadabra.
The Gengar with fearow.

Gengar used hypnosis
Fearow is asleep
Gengar used 3 uneffective sucker punches.
Gengar used shadow ball. Uneffected.
Fearow woke up
Fearow used mirror move
Fearow used shadow ball
Critical hit!
It's super effective
Gengar is K.O.
lol

Anyone mind helping me find my friend code? I haven't played one since the original G/S. I know I need the pal pak and have it, but other than that I'm stumped.

Nice man. Y'all are lucky on the Ps3 getting the divine edition!

I've been fine with my 360 version though. Easy achievements XD

My only complaint is the hordes of enemies when not prepared. Having to start at the beginning of sometimes very long fights when you lose.

I think it'd be awesome to see Dragon Quest 7 remade! Had such a long story! that it'd be awesome to see it in at least ps2 graphics.

Also original Zelda, FF7, FF8, the usual others too :P

Wow, I didn't realize a weeks past! :O lol

Have you downloaded and played the demo? It is no simple "God of War clone" this game is epic. I love both the possible weapons and the gameplay is immersive and just plain fun. This is the first demo in a long time I actually played more than once!! I can't wait to own it!!

I was only calling it a GoW clone since all the reviews and previews I've read over it have criticized it for a "similar fighting style". While I agree a bit, I think they've added quite a bit too. Like not just one way to button press kill a monster, there's seriously like three ways to absolve and punish (3 each) the minotaurs. I checked XD

I've looked into some more of it since the European version came out the other day. Lucky bastards! :)

2 days! :P

It may be a god of War clone, but who cares? :D It still looks awesome!

I think I may be getting The Divine Comedy's first part, Inferno, for some hell-like reading :P as well as the game preordered.

The demo's been out since Christmas Eve on psn and xbl.

It was a pretty poor movie :-\ Like for the style it was in and the acting and all that, it was well done, just not not my cup of tea I guess. I was a little on edge though. Maybe that's just the fact that my eardrum was about to burst from all the giddy females screaming at EVERYTHING! :P

Just realized it completely switched movies in two posts ha.

You know, I don't think I ever even read the books on the wild things... Guess that's reason not to see the movie :P

Don't worry about it, mostly just voicing what's in my mind while playing it lol, if I get a few people that like em along the way, well cool :D. Thanks for the critique as well. Two cents are better than broke :P

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hswHl8A6X-c I guess it would go here, since I'm commenting on the game :p

Basically play through the best I can with commentary.
Sorry I'm a bit quiet :-[ it was 2:30 A.M. and didn't want family to hear me and get pissed for being up 4 hours before I have to get up :p
