Um, having a slight but rare problem...

Sometimes when I make a post(when I say sometimes, I mean it has only happened 3 times ever), when I hit the post button, it goes to load and then all of a sudden asks me to download or open index.php...

I know what it means, but why does it do this?

Sounds like the server is cocking up. Probably nothing to important, unless the index.php actually has the entire php source code in it. Andrew will proberly drop in in a sec and give you an explanation.

The php file would most likely just contain the html of the page that should have been loaded into the browser (but for some reason got detected as a different content type), it's highly unlikely that there would be anything confidential in there even if it were the source code of that particular file.

well, it's not like it's a user policy file or something. Or an archive file from a restricted board.

It's probably just Apache !@#$% up. I haven't had the issue, but sometimes the only thing that loads for me is a blank index page. I'll contact support about it and see whats up.

Never happened to me. Actually, when you do some things while holding alt, it'll download the file.
